FT Parnells 3-15 Réalt Dearg 4-9 Disappointing day for the Stars as we lost by 3 points in the end but the lads can be very proud of their performance and the way they carried themselves in tough circumstances. The game started brightly for RD with the wind behind us and 4 goals from (2), David Kenneally and saw us lead 4-6 1-5 at half time.

Parnells came back into the game in the 2nd half thanks to a strong wind and vocal home crowd to take the lead in the last 10 minutes but the Stars were very unlucky not to get a draw with a few attempts on goal just bouncing the wrong way. Noel Murphy, Rory O'Loughlin and James Kenny all came on as subs.

Massive thank you to our supporters at the game who were a great boost for us all the way through the match and the messages of support from those who couldn't make it, it was great to see so many former players and friends of the club turnout.

Thanks also to Eoghan, Trevor and all the management team who put in a massive effort all year. It's an unfortunate way to end the season but it was a great year overall and all involved should be proud of their efforts 🖤❤️
