KRFC HOSTING ALL-IRELAND MIXED ABILITY TOURNAMENT
🟢⚪️🔵🌟🌟🌟🟢⚪️🔵

We’re delighted to be hosting 11 mixed ability teams from across the country this Saturday, Sept 12, in the first All-Ireland Mixed Ability rugby tournament. 👏👏

It’s a huge privilege to host this IRFU backed tournament. We’re looking forward to welcoming players and their families from all over the country.

Mixed ability rugby is a growing inclusive code of rugby where players with or without physical and intellectual disabilities play on the same team versus similar teams. Its full 15 a side, full rules, full of fun.

The clubhouse will be buzzing all day and matches will kick off at 12.30 on pitch 1 and pitch 2. We’re looking forward to welcoming teams including West Cork Jesters, Sundays Well RFC Ballincollig Rugby Club Banbridge RFC and Malone RFC who are co-organizing the event. 🤩🤩

Let the craic begin!

Everyone here at Kinsale RFC would like to send a massive congratulations to our fellow teammate Dan Horgan on his recent success playing in Melbourne, picking up some well-deserved rugby awards! 👏🔥

It’s brilliant to see one of our own making his mark on the other side of the world.

Dan has always been a great club man, and it’s fantastic to see his rugby taking him to new places while still flying the Kinsale RFC flag proudly in Melbourne. 🌎

KINSALE SHARKS BACK THIS SATURDAY!
🟢⚪️🔵🦈🦈🦈🟢⚪️🔵

We’re looking forward to welcoming all our Kinsale Mini Sharks back to training this coming Saturday morning from 9am.

🙌 As ever, we’ll welcome hundreds of boys and girls aged 13 and under at our 5 pitches and clubhouse to enjoy the game of rugby - learning skills, making friends and building confidence.

🏉 We’re welcoming boys and girls born in 2021 or older. We have teams from U6 through to U12 who come together every Saturday morning until May to play mini games to build their love of sport and the outdoors.

☕️ Our clubhouse cafe means you can bring the kids, and the siblings, and enjoy a tea, coffee or treat while our stars train.

🌟 New players always welcome. No obligation, just come along and give it a TRY. Our Munster trained coaches will help your boy or girl get up to speed quickly!

KINSALE LADS COMPLETE MUNSTER SUMMER INTRPROS
🟢⚪️🔵👏👏👏🟢⚪️🔵

Well done to 3 members of our U18 boys team who’ve just completed a successful Munster U18 interpro series, playing Ulster, Connacht and Leinster.

Ivor O’Riordan, Eoin Harrington and Sean O’Sullivan all impressed in the famous red and completed their season with a narrow loss to Leinster in Donnybrook at the weekend. Despite going down, the boys were part of a team that fought back and nearly caught Leinster in their own back yard.

Well done lads for representing yourselves, your families and your community so well on such a grand stage. We’re very proud of you.

Our U13, U14, U16 and U18.5 boys and girls have a busy season ahead, so good preparation is important.

Congratulations to Eoin Harrington, Sean O’Sullivan and Ivor O’Riordan who have all been named in the Munster U18s clubs side facing interprovincial action in the weeks ahead.

Well done lads - your hard work and continued focus is paying off. Well done to the coaches, players and families who support the lads. Great recognition all around.

Our club is also delighted to see four former club members in the Munster U18s schools side - Christian Murphy, Hugh Downey, Rossa Kinirons and Matthew McCarthy all wore the green, white and blue before schools careers came calling. All seven boys were part of an impressive under age team 👏👏
