A competitive and high-quality U18 Football Development Competition tonight as Duhallow and Avondhu served up an excellent game in Castletownroche.

Both teams showed great skill, commitment and sportsmanship throughout, producing some outstanding football and plenty of positive moments. These development competitions are all about giving players opportunities to learn, improve and express themselves, and both panels certainly did that.

Final Score: Duhallow 3-10 Avondhu 0-15

Credit to Avondhu for a strong performance and for contributing to an entertaining and competitive contest.

Well done to all players, coaches, officials and supporters involved. The future of football in the division is in good hands.
