Aoife started her dance training in Clonmel, before continuing her studies at Firkin Crane, Cork, under Alan Foley, director at Cork City Ballet. She regularly performed at Firkin Crane, as well as the Cork City Opera House, and Green Glens Arena. Aoife then moved to London to continue her studies, where she was accepted for postgraduate studies in dance at the world famous Trinity Laban Conservat
oire of Music and Dance, in Greenwich, London, graduating in 2004. In London, Aoife performed in prestigious venues such as the acclaimed Bonnie Bird Theatre, and the Tate Modern Gallery, as well as performing at Wembley Stadium. As a performer, Aoife toured the UK and Europe, where a lot of her own choreography was also performed. She was heavily involved in the world of colourguard and winterguard, and performed at the highest level in Europe, as well as competing and choreographing in the world championships in the USA. Aoife has remained in demand as a teacher and choreographer, and has taught with and written for various groups throughout the UK, and set up her own company AOK-Dance. She has taught dance at the University of Sussex in Brighton. She also ran a series of successful dance camps in London and various cities along the south coast of the UK, working with various age-groups, as well as teaching dance for children with special needs. Aoife has also taught for a number of groups in Ireland.
