We are absolutely thrilled to tell you more about the newest addition to our team, Chartered Physiotherapist Emer Dunphy!

Hailing from Kilkenny, Emer brings a wealth of experience and a huge passion for helping our clients get back to moving comfortably and feeling their best.

Outside of the clinic, Emer is a fully qualified lifeguard and swimming coach, and loves keeping active with Gaelic football. She is also a huge animal lover with a particular passion for everything to do with horses! 🐎⚽🏊‍♀️

We are delighted to have her expertise on board at Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy.

Sept/Oct 8-Week In-Person Physio Led Yoga Blocks Booking Soon! Clonmel.

Our next 8-week block of Physio-Led Yoga kicks off on Monday, August 31st and Tuesday, September 1st.

Whether you’re looking to unwind at the end of a busy day, challenge yourself with stronger transitions, or enjoy a steady, high-energy morning flow, these classes will give you that opportunity.

AOK Dance, Gurtnafleur Park, Clonmel (E91 PH32)

We provide mats and blocks, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

The Timetable:

Mondays @ 6:00 PM (50 mins): Beginners & Improving Beginners. Perfect for escaping the evening madness and unwinding.

Mondays @ 7:05 PM (1 hr): Intermediate to Advanced. A stronger, deep practice with high energy and fun transitions.

Tuesdays @ 9:30 AM (1 hr): Mixed Beginners to Intermediate. A steady, energetic morning flow.

Emer joins us with a wealth of clinical experience from both hospital and community rehab settings, bringing a fantastic skillset to our community. Her main passion and areas of expertise include:

Elderly Rehab & Mobility – Helping older adults regain confidence, improve balance, manage osteoarthritis, and stay independent.

Neuro Rehabilitation – Specialized experience working with stroke recovery, Parkinson’s, and complex neurological conditions.

Sports Injuries – From pitch-side acute injury care to strength and conditioning, Emer loves getting athletes safely back to their sport.
