The Peace Link Sports Facility funded under the EU Peace III programme and managed by Special EU programmes body is a cross border cross community sports facility with the ethos of peace, tolerance and acceptance. The facility operates as a shared space for both sides of the border with a vision of sporting principles which promotes active participation in sporting endeavours as being an appropriate vehicle to rebuild contacts and alliances/relationships on a cross-border basis.

Today at The Peace Link, we were delighted to host schools from the Cavan Monaghan ETB for their annual Sports Day🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Students from all year groups took part in a fantastic range of track and field events, with both Junior and Senior Shields up for grabs for the winning schools👏🏻

It was a great day all round, full of energy, teamwork & sportsmanship from everyone involved

Well done to all schools who took part✅
