FULL-TIME PAID APPRENTICESHIP IN SPORTS TURF MANAGEMENT (GREENKEEPING)

Location: Clones Golf Club, Clones, Co. Monaghan

Duration: 2 Years | Qualification: QQI Level 6 Higher Certificate

Salary: Competitive, with increases based on experience and education

Clones Golf Club is offering a full-time, paid apprenticeship in Sports Turf Management (Greenkeeping). This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Entry Routes:

Leaving Certificate with minimum grades (including English and Maths)
QQI Level 5 in Horticulture (or equivalent)
Over 17 with 1+ year experience in the sports turf industry
Programme Highlights:

Structured on- and off-the-job training
Block release training with Teagasc
Modules include Turfgrass Science, Soil Hydrology, Plant Protection, and more
Mentorship and regular one-to-one support
Requirements:

Provisional or full driving licence
