A great evening of talent took place last night at the Iontas centre.
Well done to all the Clones participants. We had Maisy, Freya and Phoebe who did a fantastic job in the under 13 solo music section, and Molly in the under 13 solo singing.
Congratulations 🥳 to the under 13 choir who came 2nd 🥈 they did us so proud and looked amazing sporting our new TShirts. 👏
Congratulations to Avamarie who came 🥈 in the under 16 solo music. 🎶
And congratulations 🥳 to our under 16 group music (Aoibhin, Saoirse and Avamarie) who came 🥇 and will be moving onto Carlow in September for the all Ireland’s.

Clones community games is delighted to be successful in securing funding from CMETB. We sincerely appreciate getting the Local Youth Club Grant Scheme 2026 to help support local activities & events for our young people. Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board - CMETB

On Wednesday last, we held our area athletics event at the Peace Link. On a lovely sunny evening, there were races for boys and girls from Under 6 up to Under 16. We were very lucky to have our county GAA players, Cameron Dowd and Kerry Nolan presenting the medals. Thanks to Cameron, Kerry, all the parents and coaches who helped out, the Peace Link and the Athletics Club for the use of their track and equipment. Well done to all the kids who put in a great effort and made it a very successful and fun evening. The Peace Link Sports Facility
