We are delighted to welcome The Merrion Hotel Dublin as the title sponsor of the Irish Rugby Legend event in aid of Connemara RFC’s Community Sports Development Centre!

We’re also thrilled to announce our first Irish & Connacht Rugby Legend… the legendary Eric Elwood, who will be joining our live rugby legends panel on the night 🎤

Huge congratulations to Matthew O’Flaherty and Rory Ashe on being selected for the U16 Galway Regional Development Squad as part of Connacht Rugby’s summer programme! 👏

A fantastic achievement and a reward for all of their hard work and dedication. We wish both boys the very best and look forward to following their journey over the summer ⚫️⚪️

Work has officially begun on the final surfacing of our second pitch — and we couldn’t be more excited 🙌

This is an exciting step for Connemara RFC and for the ongoing development of our new Multi-Sport & Community Facility at the Monastery Field.

A massive thank you to everyone who supports the club through memberships, our club lotto and fundraising efforts, projects like this happen because of you!

And there’s more to come… stay tuned for an exciting new walkway project beginning at the Monastery Field in the coming days in association with the IRFU Healthy Ireland Walking Tracks Initiative 🚶
