A Family Day Out in Connemara

Fresh air, winding roads, spectacular views and the occasional “Are we nearly there yet?” from the back!

Connemara is made for exploring on two wheels. Beaches, bogs, mountains and plenty of places to stop for treats along the way.

You can come to Connemara without cycling… but really, why would you?

Connemara has a way of hiding its best treasures down little roads and around unexpected corners. Tiny beaches, quiet coves, white sand and clear Atlantic water, some so tucked away you can have them almost entirely to yourself.

You could spend your days here discovering a different beach every day… and still leave a few for next time.

There are some amazing athletes cycling around these parts these days, cycling the pancelticraceseries we will try and get a snap of anyone who pops in today we had Flynn Wiesenberger, lovely smiling guy 😁 even after 1116.11km with a daily average of 250km a day 🫣
