We are delighted to invite you to a special evening at the Club on Saturday, 18th April at 7:00pm! 🍻🎉

Please come and join us for a relaxed and enjoyable social gathering with fellow members. We will be serving wine, soft drinks, nibbles, and a delicious Chilli. 🥣🍷
To help us with catering arrangements, please RSVP at your earliest convenience either through instagram here or through the email that was sent out!

The trivia night was a great success! The junior committee would like to thank all the people that came out to support their first event! It was so good to see so many people in the clubhouse getting to know each other. We look forward to hosting more events in the future.

Hello sailors,

Our Easter and Summer camps are open to book! We cannot wait to get the season started! ⛵️☀️

Adult and evening dinghy sessions will be starting soon and hopefully some good weather will come our way for the summer ☀️⛅️

I believe the “big” boats are in the water so cruising Thursday will be beginning in the near future. 🤞🏼

Looking forward to seeing familiar faces and maybe new faces down in the club in the coming weeks 🤙🏼⛵️👏🏼

📣 Exciting Guest Speaker 📣

We are very excited to announce that Pat Lawless is coming to CBC! A solo sailor who is going to join us in the clubhouse to talk all things sailing. After unfortunately having to retire from the Golden Globe Race in 2022, he is getting ready to take it on again this year! Luckily we have the opportunity to get the knowledge and experience Pat has gained.
Starting at 7pm on Friday 27th of February, Pat joins us to talk all about rigging, time alone, sails, self steering etc. I have been told he loves questions, which is good for us because we love asking them!!

Bar will be open, we can’t wait to see you all then!

Bloody Lobster Pots — an evening focused on real, practical boating safety.

Join us at Clifden Boat Club on Friday 30th January at 7 PM for an open discussion on lobster pot hazards: how to spot them, how to avoid them, and what to do if you get caught. Whether you sail, motor, fish, or paddle, this is essential local knowledge that could prevent serious trouble on the water.
