📣 Calling all Cycling Ulster clubs.

An email has been sent to club secretaries inviting Expressions of Interest to deliver a Sofa to Saddle Programme in their local area this summer.

We're looking for clubs to welcome new and returning cyclists through an 8-week programme designed to build confidence, improve fitness, and introduce participants to the benefits of club cycling.

The journey will culminate at a special Cycling Ulster event in Fermanagh on 26th September, where participants will graduate by completing a 50km cycle alongside fellow riders from across the province.

Cycling Ulster will provide support with setup, administration, promotion, and Ride Leader training where required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your club, engage with your community, and help more people discover the joy of cycling.

Big hats off to Mickey and John who both got on the podium following great performances in their respective races last nite 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️💨

These results along with their other strong performances have secured Mickey 1st 🥇 in M50 category, while John secured 2nd 🥈 in M60 category (on a tie break). Congratulations to them both, they have done themselves and our club proud👏👏👏👏

Meanwhile, the Saturday group planned a spin taking in local defibrillator locations, helping to highlight the importance of these lifesaving devices within our community.

A great day out for our Smugglerettes at the recent Cycling Ulster Ladies Day! 🚴‍♀️

It was fantastic to join women cyclists from across Ulster for a day of cycling, fun, and friendship, celebrating and promoting women's participation in our sport.

A big thank you to Cycling Ulster and all the organisers for a brilliant event. Well done to all our ladies who took part and represented the club so well! 💜

📢 The RSA is asking cyclists to complete a 15-minute survey on their experiences cycling in Ireland to inform road safety initiatives.



Participants must be:

· Aged 17+

· A regular cyclist, and/or involved in a collision as a cyclist in the last 5 years



All participants will be entered into a draw to win a €200 voucher.
