We’re looking to get more girls involved in rugby in Cashel this season and are currently recruiting for our U16 & U18.5 teams.

We’re holding a get-together next Monday, 7th September at 7pm in the Cashel RFC clubhouse for anyone interested in coming along.

Whether you’ve played before or are completely new to rugby, you’re more than welcome. There’ll also be Munster coaching involved, with Timothy Townsend taking charge as Head Coach.

If you’re interested in playing, come along and see what it’s all about. ❤️🤍

*Rock Pedallers Charity Cycle*

On September 2nd to the 6th the Rock Pedallers Cycling Club Cashel will embark on their fundraising cycle from Malin Head to Mizen Head, covering 640km in memory of former club member and colleague Noreen Walsh from Cahir.

Noreen sadly lost her battle with Sarcoma Cancer last August at just 37 years of age. The Rock Pedallers are dedicating this challenge to Noreen's memory and in doing so raising funds to support vital cancer research.

All moneys raised will be donated directly to Cancer Research through Cork University Foundation.

Several of our own club members are taking part in this very worthy fundraising cycle. On Friday September 4th the group will arrive back into Cashel where the town will come together to welcome the cyclists on the final leg of their journey to Mizen Head.

Please come out and support on the Plaza the cyclists would greatly appreciate a rousing welcome.

*Cashel RFC presentation to ICU Family Room*
Following the hugely successful raffle in aid of the Johnny Hannigan Cashel RFC Memorial Golf Classic a presentation of a leather recliner chair from Minogues in Cashel was presented to the ICU Family Room in Tipperary University Hospital. Pictured at the presentation of the chair is: James Hannigan - Chairman Cashel RFC, JJ Hannigan, Yvonne Hannigan & Catherine O’ Donoghue - Intensive Care Unit, Tipperary University Hospital.
