Our G4M&O are having their annual Christmas Dress Up Mixed Football Match tomorrow evening, Saturday 7th December on the astro turf in Boherlahan. Ladies match kicks off at 5.30 & the hilarious mixed match throw in is at 6. This has proved to be a great evenings entertainment of football & many other strange sites has also been witnessed!! As you are all well aware, Sean Ryan Shiner, who's sister, Avril Ryan Wilson who is our own G4M&O colleague & friend, was in a horrific car crash lately & has a long recovery road ahead of him. We are asking for any donations to our match tomorrow evening & all funds will go towards the Sean Ryan Shiner Go Fund Me Campaign. Please support this worthy cause & enjoy our very talented & funny footballers also. Sean, Avril & their family would really appreciate our support at this difficult time, thanks.

What a day & night to remember! Our G4M&O ladies travelled to Portmarnock for the National Blitz on Saturday. They had been waiting for this day for a long time & even the rain didn't damper their spirits. What a team, won 5 out of 5, Legends! They are a great bunch of ladies & they sure know how to celebrate, although I'm guessing their bodies aren't feeling the love today!! Well done ladies, Hon the Sash! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸπŸ»πŸ·πŸΎ

So we had our end of year mixed match/night out on Saturday evening. What an evening & night it turned out to be, even the rain didn't stop these wonderful women & men, might I add. We started off with women v's women, let me tell u it was some game & the display of football was superb, hard to believe they only started in late July. Next, we played a mixed match but the men had to dress up a little, it was hilarious & great craic. We ended the evening with a little presentation, winners got medals, then best dressed male with Austin Lawrence picking that award up & most committed G4M had to go to none other than the great, Annie Brennan. Then we all met for the after party in Brosnan's Bar for a great night of food, drinks, chats & laughs. Thank you all for a brilliant 1st year. Hon the Sash! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ

So our G4M&O played their first match last night against Rathcormac of Cork in Rathcormac. The ladies were very nervous as expected but I don't know why because they played absolutely brilliant with some fine football displays on show. First game, first win! Watch this space as these ladies are only getting started! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ
