One of our favourite days of the year is just around the corner, with the Bray Emmets Family Fun Day taking place this Sunday 14th June.

Once again it is shaping up to be a great day with lots of hard work already going on behind the scenes. Our Mini All-Ireland Ireland finals will be taking centre stage but with lots more to keep all the family entertained, including delicious food stalls, funfair games, face-painting, secondhand sports gear stalls and more, it's a day not to missed. Open to all members and non-members, it's a wonderful community day so grab the family and looking forward to seeing you all there 😎💚💙

Our senior footballers stood shoulder to shoulder yesterday evening in a minutes silence to remember the true gentleman and great club man that was Alan Corr.

The shock and sadness at the sudden passing of Alan last weekend in New York continues to be deeply felt throughout the club and wider community. PJ has written a number of lovely tributes on the club newsletter during the week, capturing the dedication and love Alan had for Bray Emmets and the impact of his loss on so many. What shines through most on reading the tributes is how the unquestionable class that Alan showed on the pitch throughout his time with club and county, was replicated if not surpassed off the field, where his kind beautiful nature and genuine warmth made him a wonderful friend to many, as well as a role model for younger players.

We offer our heartfelt and sincerest condolences to his loving mother Vivienne, his father Martin, his brother Michael, and his sisters Nicola and Linda, his brothers-in-law Mark and Gareth, and his nephews Simon, Ronan, and Ethan, and his niece Lucy.

Funeral arrangements are included here.

Rest in peace Alan, you will never be forgotten. Until we meet again.
