Last Friday saw the final of the Hennessy Cup.

After a summer of Friday evening qualifying the winners emerged. Congrats to Jimmy and Rosemary Rynhart, pictured with the sponsors John and Marie Hennessy along with VC Ann.

Jakub has spent his summer with us at Old Conna as part of the Erasmus programme and, despite spending the summer at a golf club, had never actually played the game!

That changed today when one of our members, Philip Purcell, kindly took the time to bring Jakub out for his first-ever nine holes of golf.

It was a great example of the friendship, welcome and that makes our Club special.
