We are delighted to announce that the gym facility is now open to all members aged 18 and over. A great deal of work has gone into creating this valuable new fitness facility, and we are excited to make it available to our members.
The gym has been designed to make the best use of the space available. It provides a range of strength and flexibility equipment to complement your tennis activities, as well as several cardio machines. The facility has been designed to cater for members of all fitness levels and physical abilities.
To gain access to the gym, members must read and accept the new CWLTC Gym Facility Use Agreement. This can be found under "Events" in SmartClub. Please add the agreement to your cart and complete the checkout process. We ask that you read all sections carefully, paying particular attention to the gym rules that apply when using the facility.
Once you have completed this process, please contact [email protected] or speak to Ruth in the office to have your account enabled. After your account has been activated, your membership card will allow access to the gym, and you will be able to book sessions through the ClubManager365 booking system (please refer to the CWLTC Gym Facility Use Agreement for how to book).
Gym sessions are 30 minutes long, and members may book consecutive slots. We will also add gym users to a dedicated WhatsApp group for announcements, and there will be a mechanism for members to provide feedback on the facility.
In addition, we will be offering induction classes for members who are not familiar with using gym equipment. These classes will be available to book through SmartClub at a cost of €10.
We hope this new facility proves to be a valuable addition to the club and enhances your overall membership experience.
