What an occasion at Croke Park yesterday.
Katie Taylor put on an exhibition of boxing for the 83,000 people attending.
Croke Park looked amazing and fair play to everyone involved in that .
The scenes at the end with her family in the ring was just fantastic.
Thank you Katie for everything you have done for boxing over your astonishing career .
It was great to be there and witness the whole occasion.

Fantastic piece on 96fm Radio yesterday morning with Paul Byrne.
The interviews he did with our younger boys and girls Monday night in the Club were just brilliant.
They all spoke about Katie Taylor and boxing in general , about their own training and boxing .
To be fair Paul was brilliant with them and made them feel at ease while speaking with him.
They made us all so proud of them .
Well done also to Riverstown National School Principal Mr Padraig Bracken who gave a great interview on Katie's visit to the School .

Congratulations to Michael Dooley who returns from the Salgótarján Box Gala in Hungary with a Gold Medal.

The experience gained from this trip will stand to Michael and further enhance his development as a top class boxer .
Michael already is a two time Irish Champion .
