Day two of the Eger Box Cup gave us varied results .
We take them and move on as the performance of our boxers were really good and to bank them wil stand to them going forward.
Patrick McCarthy won by way of a walk over , his opponent failed to weigh in .
Michael Dooley was involved in a top class technical bout that went his opponents way , Michael showing great form at present .
Ava Fitzpatrick boxed out of her skin two days in a row to claim a deserved gold medal 🏅.
Ava Cotter slipped to a defeat in her final but will come away with a lot of learnings .
Patrick Dooley in a B Final put in a much better performance today , while he still didn't get the decision the performance was really good .
Calvin Heaphy didnt get the joy he had yesterday while going down to defeat in his final .
Evan Mulcahy performed brilliantly for all three rounds in his B Final and was so unfortunate to be on the wrong end of a split decision.
Sean Butler had to settle for silver after three tough rounds where we thought that he deserved to get the win , this was great preparations for the upcoming Intermediate Championships.
Davey Roche turned back the clock and performed incredibly well to win Gold.
Three rounds of incredibly hard graft from Davey got him over the line to claim a unanimous decision .
Last into the ring was Alex Noonan, Alex had to give way to a class operator from Czechia , easy to find positives from Alex's performance that will stand to hm down the line .
PRIDE IN OUR PAST
HOPE IN OUR FUTURE
