Athy Camogie Club were lucky enough to be in receipt of a County Council Grant and were able to utilise it to install camogie suitable ball stop nets at Grangenolvin gfc. We have also acquired some Mycro Helmets for use within the club as you can see some of our younger players using them.

It is great to have these ball stop nets in situ in Grange (less sliotars lost :-))

Our U12 team started their league last night with an away game to Broadford🇱🇻

This was a big step up from go game blitzes for the girls but they worked hard and did themselves proud - well done girls💪🏻👏🏻

Well done to our Feile girls today👏🏻💪🏻

The girls showed great heart and determination winning 2 out of 3 games in the group stages and were unfortunate to lose out on a semi final spot on score difference.

The girls were also honoured to have Uachtarán Hilda Breslin down in Nurney to cheer them on.

Thanks again to Conlan's Family Store for providing snacks and refreshments for the team.

Overall, a very enjoyable day and Athy Camogie are very proud of the girls and all involved with the team👏🏻🇱🇻
