Ahead of yesterday's Athy Town AFC U15s v Moone game, both teams observed a minute’s silence in memory of Jim Dunne RIP.

Jim was a great supporter of Athy Town AFC, with his son James having played for the club. Jim was also involved in coaching with Athy Town alongside Shane Prior and M.J. Brennan a number of years ago.

Our thoughts are with James and all the Dunne family at this very sad time.

Some members of our u10 Red Team, flanked by their manager Stevie Purcell, out braving the weather this morning to help out with the clubs Annual Flag Day. The lads made it even with their match today kicking off at 1.30PM

If you’re out and about today and pass any of our volunteers all donations are greatly appreciated.
