Huge Congratulations to one of our senior swimmers, Daniel Hayes who was our first swimmer to represent us at the National Championships last week. He swam absolutely brilliant reaching a B Final and we are all immensely proud.

What a fantastic weekend for our swimmers, coaches and parents alike. We had our first Dip & Dive home Gala followed by a picnic. It was a first for some of our swimmers who took it all in their stride and for the kids who had competed before they showed great encouragement and leadership to the younger swimmers. We also had a bit of competition on the rounders field afterwards where some of the parents and coaches tried to show the kids up ( possibly by making up new rules ) . We also had enthusiastic kids who competed in a local Aquathon over the weekend. Everyone present showed great team spirit and more importantly really enjoyed themselves.

And these weekends keep coming. Loads of pb's and podium finishes again this weekend and more importantly loads of happy kids. We had swimmers at the Leinster Swim Festival in the NAC, Triathlete's at the Beyond the Wall Triathlon in Co. Down ( if you look closely you might see some of the scenes from Game or Thrones ) and representation at the National Minimus Championships in Limerick where Bella finished 10th out of 104 girls. Brilliant efforts all round

Another weekend over. .more Galas and Aquathlons fulfilled. We had representation at Galas in Banbridge and Wexford as well as an Aquathlon in Schull, Co. Cork. We had many pb's, podium finishers and loads of medals. A super weekend for all our competitors. I think the weather was more favourable in the pool this weekend though!

Another busy weekend for Stingrays!
Our club had swim representation at the Ian Wright Memorial Gala in Bangor, ALSAA Invitational Gala and some of our coaches and committee members completed in Tri Athy.
We had some great racing all round, PB's and a first time gala attendee.
