One year ago, my doctors gave me some heavy news🦠❤️‍🩹 To manage an autoimmune disease, I had to take medication that caused a severe side effect: osteoporosis🦴💪📉

My bones 🦴 were so weak that I was told I could easily fracture my wrist. ❌

I was completely disheartened💔 But when I asked how to fix it, my doctors gave me a spark of hope: “Osteoporosis can be reversed if you build muscle.” 🏋️‍♀️✨

I took that challenge and ran with it⚡Build a life around fitness & became a Fitness Coach💪🧿

After falling over 100 times 🤸‍♂️🔄, getting right back up, and refusing to give in, I just held a freestyle handstand!

I am balancing my entire body weight on the exact wrists once diagnosed with osteoporosis. 🤯👑

When an Athlete transforms into a Coach⛹🏻‍♀️🔄🏋️‍♀️Everything changes. You stop treating your body like a machine to beat up, and start treating it as a sanctuary to protect💪💯✨🧿

Last week, reality hit hard💥 A sudden, pinching pain around my scapula a pulled rhomboid completely sidelined my back training, right as my period cycle started🩸🤦‍♀️

When things go wrong at once, everyone has an opinion. 🗣️ Some blamed “evil eye” (nazar) 🧿; others said overexertion🏋️‍♀️

For a second, I wondered if I should just Quit. But my intuition kicked in: This isn’t a curse it’s a test to see if I’m still hungry to level up🥊🤸‍♀️🔥📈🧿

I spent the weekend resting my overactive muscles and calming my nervous system. 🛌🌿 It taught me a powerful lesson: It is entirely okay to take a back seat, skip the PRs, embrace a deload, and just breathe🫁🧘‍♀️

The Internal Battle: Old Samra vs. New Samra 🧠⚔️🤝🎯

Ever since my autoimmune diagnosis🦠, I’ve been in a frantic hustle mode to make a comeback🏃‍♀️💨 And while I am incredibly proud to have brought my disease into remission ✅and reversed osteoporosis🦴, it created a constant internal war:

The Athlete⛹🏻‍♀️ in me 🤸‍♀️ is hardwired to never give up and push past the pain.The Rabbit 🐇 mentality.

The Coach🏋️‍♀️ in me reminds me to take it one day at a time and listen to the warning signs of my body & slow down like a tortoise 🐢

This week, the Coach won. And thank goodness she did🤍🙌Because slow & steady always wins the race🐇👉🐢

💤 Body wants sleep: Your body needs deep rest because that is when your brain activates its “cleaning system” to literally flush away toxic waste. Without it, your memory, mood, and health suffer.

🧠 Mind wants money: Your mind seeks financial security because constant money worries trigger the brain’s fear center. Getting stable isn’t about greed it’s about turning off “survival mode” so you can finally think clearly and calmly.

❤️ Heart wants love: Your heart needs real connection. Science shows that chronic loneliness is as dangerous to your physical health as smoking 15 ci******es a day. We are biologically wired for community.
