Something I’ve noticed recently is how insincerely people ask how you are, expecting you to reply with “yeah I’m good thanks, you?” and that be it. It’s just a passing comment and not a genuine question

I’ve been in one of the emotionally hardest seasons of my life recently and I’m honestly not ok at the moment. I can’t fake feelings to make other people comfortable like I used to anymore. That’s not being true to myself.

As I enter my 30s, I’m learning to be fully authentic and honest with myself and that means with others too. Not just keeping the peace and swallowing emotions

If I’m struggling, I’m not going to pretend I’m fine just to save someone from an awkward interaction. It doesn’t feel right to me anymore to just say “yeah fine ta” when I’m falling apart inside

So if you don’t actually care, or if you don’t have the time / energy to hear a real answer and hold space for me, just don’t ask me.

The 2nd Natural Strongest U80 Man in the WORLD 🌍🫶🏻

Not a single doubt in my mind that he would be on that podium & I’m so grateful I was able to be there with him this weekend. He works so hard every single day, I’m so glad it all came together on the competition floor💥 and if there’s one thing I know is that nothing drives Dan like people doubting him, if he wants something he will get it 🫶🏻

I don’t think I’ve ever screamed so loud as I did when he loaded that last sandbag!!😅😅 then I cried 🥹🥹 unreal performance, Texas next year?! 👀 🤠 🇺🇸

Everyone told me that your 30th birthday is a special one but mine felt quite the opposite. Smiling through grief. Working through some wounds. Holding on to the glimmers.

Grateful for the little bits of joy that’s found its way in. Thank you to everyone who wished me happy birthday & tried to make my birthday special I appreciate you 💜

You were far too good for this world. A heart so warm. A soul so pure. I will always remember how safe and loved you made me feel. You did so much for me and I am forever grateful. All of my best childhood memories were baking or playing with you. I hope you know how much I love you.

You were a real life angel. I wish you got to enjoy my girls and see them grow, you would have loved them. I know you would because of how much you loved me.

I’m so angry. You didn’t deserve any of this. I’m so sorry it had to be this way. But you are finally free from this cruel world. Finally with great nan and your sisters. I hope Cliff Richard is there with you too ❣️

Yes, I’m lucky I can bring my girls to the gym with me but lucky doesn’t mean easy. Trying to wear the coach and mum hat at the same time takes a completely different kind of strength 🫠🫠

Behind every mum working with her kids around is a mind running a full marathon to stay patient, focused & present in a world that expects you to work like you don’t have kids and parent like you don’t have a job

School stops, but our work doesn’t. Solidarity to every mum white-knuckling her way through the summer “holidays” we’re doing the impossible. Remember to show yourself some compassion 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
