We’ve given it a good clean, full check-over and made sure it’s ready for its next adventure. 🙌

This bike was originally purchased from us a few years ago and has been really well looked after, so it’s in very good condition.

It would make a great uni bike, shopping bike or touring bike, and it already comes fitted with:

Every bike we sell is fully assembled, prepared and safety checked by our experienced team. 🔧

We take care of all the little details to make sure your new bike is ready for you:

✅ Correct saddle height and position
✅ Handlebar and controls adjusted
✅ Gears and brakes checked and set up
✅ Tyres inflated to the correct pressure
✅ Final checks and adjustments to make sure everything is working as it should

We also recommend bringing your new bike back to us for its first service. This is really important because, as you start riding, cables can settle and components can bed in, meaning gears, brakes and bolts may need adjusting or tightening.

❤️ So lovely to have Ray back at the shop, even if only for a little while. ❤️

Today Ray popped in to give us a hand for the first time in months, and it was honestly so good to have him back where he belongs. 🥰 Even though it was only for a short while, it meant so much to all of us.

He’s now heading back into hospital for more chemotherapy and then his bone marrow transplant, followed by a long stay in hospital. It’s going to be another incredibly tough few weeks for him, and for all of us as a family.

We’re just taking things one day at a time and looking forward to the day when we can have him back with us properly. ❤️

Keep fighting, Ray — we’re all behind you every step of the way. 💪❤️.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to share your thoughts and suggestions about us offering quality second-hand bikes.

It looks like it’s definitely an idea worth exploring! 🙌

Now comes the tricky bit… finding the right stock! 😂

To start with, we’re looking for good-quality, well-maintained bikes such as:

🚲 Quality children’s bikes – Frog, Squish etc.
🚲 Alloy hybrid bikes
🚲 Good-quality bikes that still have plenty of life left in them

If you have a bike sitting unused in the shed or garage that you think might be suitable, please feel free to get in touch. 😊

We’re always trying to think of new ways to improve what we offer and, as a small independent bike shop, your feedback really does help us.

A little favour from your local community… 💚

We don’t often talk about the challenges behind running a small independent business, but these are difficult times for us both personally and as a local business.

Our workshop is still keeping us very busy 🔧🚲, but like many independent retailers, we’ve seen our shop sales drop as more and more people choose to buy online or head into the larger towns.

So, if you’re local to Wymondham, we’d really appreciate it if you could think local before you shop. ❤️

Every purchase, every service, every repair, every recommendation and every share genuinely makes a difference to a small independent business like ours. It might seem like a little thing, but every little really does help.

A little update on Ray’s cancer journey ❤️

We’ve had a lovely day out with the family, enjoying a great meal together followed by a walk around Framlingham Castle. It was extra special as we were celebrating our daughter Hannah getting her new job at a law firm and buying her first home 🏡❤️ — so many happy things to celebrate!

Now, though, our minds are turning back to next Wednesday, when Ray will be going into hospital for his bone marrow transplant. We’re currently at the hospital having Ray’s bloods checked and talking through what to expect next week. I think we’re all feeling quite worried about what’s ahead.

I know Ray will get through it with his positive attitude and, of course, all the love and support from his family and friends ❤️ He’s already been through so much, but the thought of him being in hospital for around a month is going to be really hard for all of us.

One of the biggest problems is that Ray really can’t stand the smell or taste of the hospital food, so I’m hoping you lovely lot might have some ideas! 🥰

We’re allowed to take food in but aren’t allowed to heat it up, so I’m thinking of buying a couple of food flasks. If anyone has any suggestions for foods that are good cold or can be kept warm in a food flask, I’d really appreciate your ideas.
