Our 2026 Annual Business Luncheon took place on Friday 4th September and it was our biggest yet!

Our Partnerships Manager Max Edwards summed it up perfectly:
“Our 2026 annual business luncheon was the biggest yet, bringing together nearly 300 guests from the local business community, commercial partners and friends of the club for a fabulous lunch and to hear the tales of Dave Flatman. A great showcase and a roaring success for the club and the community whilst raising funds for Wooden Spoon.”

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, to our sponsors and partners for their incredible support, and to the wonderful Dave Flatman for being such a brilliant guest speaker and to Matt Powell for hosting the afternoon.

What a day in Belgium for our Mixed Ability team at the Beach Rugby Tournament hosted by Hesselse Herten!🏖

The team won 4 out of 5 games in the group stage, finishing second in the group to reach the final, where they drew with Mixed Mixar All Stars to be crowned joint winners! 🏆🎉

Coming back from 5-0 down in that final game to draw and share the title is a brilliant effort.

Another highlight of the day was meeting former Worcester resident Katherine, who moved out to Belgium years ago, spotted the team playing and brought her two daughters Worcester RFC polo shirts to cheers them on! Katherine’s husband was also on the pitch playing for one of the Dutch sides. 🏉

The Worcester RFC family really does reach far and wide. 🌍🔵🟡

A defeat in the opening pre-season friendly, but plenty of positives to take and lots to work on as we build towards the new season. Credit to Cleobury Mortimer for a strong performance. 💪

MIXED ABILITY JUNIORS

We are thrilled to announce that in partnership with Worcester Warriors Foundation, Worcester RFC will be launching a brand new Mixed Ability Juniors programme from Thursday 10th September!

Open to children of all abilities aged 9-16, this is a free, non-contact rugby programme suitable for SEN players and led by RFU Level 2 and SEN qualified coaches.

A wonderful opportunity for young people to enjoy rugby in a fun, inclusive and welcoming environment, every Thursday from 5:00pm to 5:45pm at Worcester RFC. 🙌
