What a great first weekend in the Swift Sport Challenge with 750MotorClub at Brands Hatch Circuit 🙌🏼
Anyone who has raced in a single-make series will know how hard it is to run in the top 10… but to do it on our first weekend, on a grid of over 30 cars, in a car which isn’t quite finished yet, is something I’m very proud of 🙌🏼
We hoped, with our experience of momentum racing in Citroen C1s, that we’d be able to challenge towards the top half in the first weekend in this series but after strong qualifying pace, the top 10 was in sight.
On lap 1, I hung it around the outside of turns 1 and 2, gaining five places to move into P7. After a brief safety car, I managed to overtake around the outside of Druids again to move into P6. The final laps were spent hunting down 4th and 5th, who were in a good battle, and I nearly joined the party, finishing under a second from 4th place in the end!
In race 2, I had another decent start and pulled a similar move around the outside of Druids to move into the top 5. After another short safety car period, I left the door open into turn one on the restart, dropping back into P6 which is where I went on to finish the race.
Car is still clean, racing was fast and competitive, results were strong - couldn’t ask for more from a debut weekend in a series

Gutted to now be handing the keys over to the brother to finish the season 😂 I’d have loved another go this year but I’m sure he’ll carry on the momentum into Croft next month 💪🏼
