🏆 MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS, HARRISON! 🏆

The club would like to extend a huge congratulations to one of our very own, Harrison Pearson! 👏

After coming through our junior section, Harrison was spotted and signed by the Wigan Warriors Academy — and today he and his teammates capped off an incredible season by completing an unbeaten campaign, finishing with victory in the Academy Grand Final against Warrington Wolves! 🔥🏆

Harrison is clearly a fantastic player, but what makes us even prouder is the person he is off the field. Despite his own busy playing schedule, Harrison gives up his time to coach our U10s, inspiring and supporting the next generation of players at our club.

He’s a brilliant role model for our youngsters, and we couldn’t be prouder to see him achieving such great things. ⬛️⬜️⬛️ X 🍒 ⚪️

‼️Our Junior Registration Day will now be held on Sunday 20th September

Whether you’re returning for another season or joining Wigan RUFC for the very first time, we’d love to see you there!

Bring the whole family down for an afternoon of rugby, fun and getting ready for the new season. There’ll be family tag rugby, a BBQ, the bar open, the chance to try on the new club stash, and plenty of opportunities to meet coaches, teammates and other families.

Yet another success story from our junior section as Conor Briggs, one of our U16s from last season has been offered a place with the St Helens RLFC academy squad on their tour of Australia🏉

Conor has played for our U14s, U15, and last season with both the U16s and Junior Colts teams and is a popular member of the Wigan RUFC family.

Everyone associated with the club is immensely proud of him, and wish him all the best for the next step in his rugby career⚫️⚪️

Another proud moment for Wigan RUFC as two of our former junior players have signed professional contracts, this time with Warrington Wolves RLFC🏉

Kobe Hongkins, who joined the club as a fourteen year old and Sonny Astley, who started his rugby journey at Douglas Valley aged six, were key members of our U16s team last season, and now they become the latest in a long line of former players who’ve progressed from our junior teams to the professional ranks.

Well done boys and good luck. Everyone at club is behind you all the way⚫️⚪️
