🩰💕 HAPPY WORLD BALLET DAY! 💕🩰

Ballet has been such a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! From being a little girl attending my very first ballet classes, to growing up dancing, taking exams, performing on stage and eventually following my passion to train at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), where I gained my degree in Ballet Education. 🩰

I feel so lucky that something I fell in love with as a little girl became my career, and that I now get to share that same love of ballet with so many wonderful children every week. 🥹💕

For me, ballet is about so much more than beautiful dancing. It teaches discipline, determination, confidence, musicality and resilience. It gives children a real sense of achievement, friendships and memories that can last a lifetime.

One of my favourite things about teaching is watching our tiniest ballerinas take their very first steps into the studio, knowing that some of them will go on to develop the same lifelong love for ballet that I have. ❤️

From those first little pointed toes to watching my older students grow into beautiful, confident dancers, I feel incredibly proud to be part of their journey.

Ballet has given me so much throughout my life, and being able to pass that passion on to the next generation is something I will never take for granted.

Happy World Ballet Day to all our beautiful SPLITZ ballerinas, past and present! 🩰🩷

🩰✨ BALLET EXAM DAY – WE ARE SO PROUD! ✨🩰

What an incredible day we’ve had at SPLITZ! 💗

Today, our wonderful ballet students took to the exam room, and we honestly couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them! 🥹👏

From our youngest dancers taking their very first ballet exam, full of excitement and a few nervous butterflies, to our older, more experienced students who continue to work their way through the grades – every single one of them was AMAZING! 🌟

Ballet exams are about SO much more than just learning exercises and achieving a certificate. They teach our dancers some incredibly valuable life skills along the way. 💕

✨ Discipline & dedication – understanding that hard work and consistent practice bring results.

✨ Confidence & courage – learning to overcome nerves, step into an exam room and perform independently.

✨ Resilience & determination – realising that not everything comes easily, but perseverance pays off.

✨ Responsibility & independence – taking ownership of their learning, remembering their work and performing it to the very best of their ability.

✨ A sense of achievement – experiencing that wonderful feeling of working towards a goal and knowing they’ve given it their all!

These are skills that go far beyond the dance studio and will stay with them throughout their lives. ❤️

As teachers, watching our students grow in confidence, maturity and ability as they progress through their ballet grades is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

We know how much hard work has gone into preparing for today, and seeing all those smiling faces coming out of the exam room makes every minute worthwhile! 🥰

A huge WELL DONE to every single dancer who took part today. Regardless of the results, you have already made us incredibly proud!

Now enjoy a little look behind the scenes at our fabulous ballet stars on their special day! 🎥🩰✨

Proud teachers, proud dancers, proud SPLITZ! 💗💙

💕 Sometimes it’s about so much more than just dancing… 🥹

Apparently Miss Chloe has a little shadow! 😂💗

One of our lovely parents captured these moments in class today, and I couldn’t resist sharing them!

It’s the little things like this that remind me why I love what I do. Watching our youngest dancers grow in confidence, develop their personalities and build such lovely bonds with their teachers is just as special as watching them learn to dance. 🥰

Although I think it’s safe to say I’ve got a friend for life with this little one! 😂💕

These are the moments that make SPLITZ so special. 💗💙

🩰💕✨ LITTLE STEPS, BIG PROGRESS! ✨💕🩰

Our lovely Pre-Primary ballerinas have been busy practising their different types of ballet walks! 🥰

From beautiful pointed toes to lovely posture and graceful movements, these little dancers are learning so many important ballet foundations whilst having lots of fun along the way! 🌟

It’s amazing how much technique and coordination goes into even the smallest steps, and we are so proud of their growing confidence and progress each week! 💗

Keep up the fabulous work, little ballerinas! 🩰👏
