We are now only 4 weeks out from our second WRPF qualifier of the season, and it's going to be a big one!

This is going to be a well organised, fast-paced, and lifter focused event, ensuring each competitor gets the best out of themselves on the platform and returns home with a positive experience under their belt

This competition provides:
•An opportunity to qualify for the WRPF Nationals
•A huge warm up area that is exclusive to competitors & handlers
•A dedicated holding area with access to an outside talcing area and easy viewing of the lifting order
•An experienced platform crew getting each lifter through the day safely & efficiently
•A spectator area in front and overhead that feels close, loud, and energetic
•Friendly staff on hand to help settle any nerves
•Hot drinks sold at reception and hot food sold just outside the main entrance
•Easy access (we're just off junction 40 of the M1) and well priced hotels nearby for any travelling competitors
•Free parking

And with the 2026 Nationals being held in Leeds for the first time, this is a very exciting time to be involved with the federation

With every competition that we host, we aim to make subtle improvements that might not seem like much, but matter to the lifters and their Powerlifting experience

With all that being said, we could do with just another couple of volunteers to help us with the running of the competition (spotters, loaders, table crew, etc)

In return for your support, we'll ensure that each volunteer has refreshments, is well fed, and is given a competition t-shirt to keep.
