At Longsands Surf School, we operate a school & club from Tynemouth Longsands beach, situated at the end of the south prom, next to the old swimming pool.. Our surf instructors are RLSS qualified lifeguards and CRB checked, as well as holding either A.S.I. qualifications (Association of surfing institute) or 'SurfingGB' coaching certificates. For complete beginners, our friendly & encouraging coac

hing style makes our lessons the perfect start. All equipment is supplied however you will need to bring a large towel & some warm clothing.
