m writing this post with a lot of sadness,
I’ve had to come to a decision about my future of gym and everyone’s best interests unfortunately I’m stepping away from coaching completely. my health is suffering to much
I broke my neck smashed c3 and c4 vertebrates nearly two years ago,
I think I’ve had a problem on my left side of neck for a while but after taking a massive punch I wasn’t expecting and the next night I fell off scooter I should of went to hospital as I had pins and needles in my arms Topaz told me to go to hospital but I didn’t listen I can’t be injuried and if I am I always heal and I was training topaz for a fight I can’t remember who it was either Shannon or lass from London, I tried my best but I wasn’t happy
Things got worse and worse last November I collapsed lost the use of my hands and legs

My balance and certain things are not going to go back to normal or get better for a good while
the problem I’m left with is nerve damage, I’m not in any sort of ridiculous pain anymore so at least that’s a bonus 😂

I’ve tried to come back in and train but it’s not working for me and I’m not going drag it out

I would like to say it’s been an absolute pleasure up and down rollercoaster of a Muay Thai journey and I’m getting off now.

I’m moving house somewhere quiet to put my feet up and chill with kids so in middle of that it’s to much message me on here I will send you my phone number

I’ve really enjoyed training you all regardless how good you think you are or not
I very proud of you all
There’s a couple of exceptions, I will behave it’s not a twisted tale story 😂😂
And it’s not about doom and gloom
There’s actually a lot of good gyms not so far away that are full of great coaches and students
Closest one is east coast
Newcastle fighters
Universal
Sorthanikul
Maxx
Grainger park
Northern kings
Jai suu
Seaton Valley
Millennium
Sabai
And more but off the top of head there enough to go on a Muay Thai holiday

Personally I’d try them all see what you like everyone is different 🙏

Last thing before I sign off thank you for your support

March 17 is Nai Khanom Tom day. This auspicious event usually takes place in the old capital city of Thailand, Ayutthaya. This day pays homage to the late Nai Khanom Tom, a legendary Thai warrior who competed against 10 opponents and won all of them using the art of the eight limbs. His strength and power of will became motivation for many current champions who are inspired by this legendary warrior.

Today we celebrate Nai Khanom Tom’s best attributes, his indomitable will to win for an honour other than his own and the willingness to face any odds in defence of the fighting art. Above all, we celebrate the belief that all muaythai warriors have in their martial art – the belief that nothing can stand against it except itself. It’s a belief that has been proven right again and again.
