Sometimes it’s important to take a step back and give yourself a little time to rest. 💗

Everything that’s been going on recently in my journey and how busy my life has been, it all got a little too much and I realised I needed to take a little break. So, I’m sorry for the lack of posts the last couple days. 🥺

Sometimes people don’t realise just how many hours of hard work goes on behind the scenes…

Its only been a day or two but no time to spare I’m back and ready as ever to get creating again with my next race event this weekend at Brands Hatch! 🏎️🏁

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support me, everything I do and patiently waiting! I’m incredibly grateful to have you all along for the journey. It genuinely means more than you know. I have several events lined up which is going to be amazing lots of content 👀🩵

Goodbye, Sam Osborne 💔😢

It’s always sad to say goodbye to another familiar face in the BTCC paddock but this one feels a little different…

Didn’t get the chance to say this earlier but Sam was one of the first drivers I ever met back in 2022 at my very first BTCC race, when he was racing with Apec Racing. 🥹🩵

As someone who was just starting out in the world of touring cars, I had no idea how big a part of my life it would become. Looking back now, it’s crazy to think how far my own journey has come since that day.

Over the last four years, I’ve been lucky enough to spend so much time around this championship, meet so many incredible people and turn my passion for motorsport into something I could only have dreamed of back then.

Watching Sam’s journey over the years, from his move to NAPA Racing UK to seeing him develop as a driver and celebrate some incredible moments it’s hard to believe he’s now taken to the grid for the final time. 💔

It’s strange to think that someone who was there right at the beginning of my own BTCC journey won’t be lining up on the grid anymore. For so many of us, these drivers become people we look forward to seeing and it’s difficult to imagine the paddock without them. 😔

Sam, thank you for being part of those early memories. I hope you look back on your time in the BTCC with so much pride! The chequered flag has fallen on your BTCC career but it’s one we will all remember…

Wishing you all the very best for whatever comes next, Sam. You’ll be missed on that grid. 🥹💔

I want to shine the spotlight on a young driver who has been supporting OUR journey for over FOUR years! 🥹

You’ll often see me sharing our motorsport journey, but I think it’s just as important to celebrate the people who have been part of our story and give them the recognition they deserve too! 💗

Meet Tom Nicholls! For those who don’t know him, Tom is a young driver who my brother actually raced against back in his karting days. He has supported both mine and Thomas’s journey for years 🏎️

Tom is an incredibly talented young driver and over the years, we’ve had plenty of chats. Despite everything he’s been through this year, he and his dad have worked incredibly hard and Tom’s determination paid off when he WON the championship 2 rounds early! 🏆👏

Now, he’s taking the next step moving up to a bigger kart! But one of the most special things to see this weekend was Tom proudly displaying a Words Do Hurt sticker on his kart! It means so much to see young drivers supporting us 💚

Tom and his dad came along to support my brother in his race at Oulton Park. So to be able to return that support and cheer him on at the very same track where our motorsport journey began made this weekend special.

Ps. I think my dad secretly misses those karting days too! He of course got his hands on the spanner’s and absolutely loved helping out 😂

Motorsport has given us so much more than racing. It’s given us friendships and memories to last a lifetime. This is a reminder that there are some good people out there! 🫶

We’ll always be cheering you on trackside or afar and I know your mam will be watching over you, beaming with pride at everything you’re achieving.
Keep making her proud. 💗🥹

I was not expecting this… One of Nicolas Hamilton’s favourite 2026 BTCC memories is talking to me 🥹🩵

It’s safe to say I’ll never stop talking about this one… to hear this from Nic Hamilton someone who inspires so many in the world of motorsport is genuinely insane!

Ive done many interviews now with Nic he has become a friend giving me the confidence and his kindness is something I’ll never take for granted. 🫶🏻

The only thing left now is to get a cheeky follow back… told you he gave me confidence 😉😂

I’d love to think my journey can inspire some of you too so if you want to follow along as chase my own motorsport media dream that would mean the world to me 💗🏁

The young girl I used to be who started this journey as she loved motorsport would be so proud! 💗🥹

How is this my life? Not long ago, I was celebrating 50K of you following my journey over on Instagram and now we’ve hit another HUGE milestone… over 10,000 of you here on Facebook! 🎉

At the start of this year, I had just 3,000 followers on here so to see this community grow so much over double in less than a year is honestly incredible.

If you’re new here, I’m Catherine a 19-year-old who can usually be found at a racetrack every weekend with a camera and microphone in hand, chasing drivers around and somehow convincing them to talk to me. 😂🏎️

My ultimate dream is to build a career in motorsport media and everything I’m doing now is helping me get one step closer. I’ve already had some incredible opportunities, met some amazing people and even started getting recognised around the motorsport paddock for my work!

Sometimes I have to stop and think about how far this little passion has already taken me I never imagined it would lead to any of this… very surreal that this is now my life! I may need to buy a bakery for all the cakes 😂

I’m so grateful for every opportunity, every person who has supported me and every single one of you who has followed along and given me the confidence to keep chasing my dreams.

If my journey can inspire even just ONE person to believe in themselves then it’s all worth it.

😡 This is absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking that I even have to say this… 💔

Fully grown adults involved in motorsport, laughing about a 15 year old boy having a crash. Just let that sink in.

It’s taken me a little while to think of the words to say for this one. I’m shocked and disappointed. However, it needs to be addressed as this is NOT okay! 😢

Thomas is my little brother. Some of you will know that he was involved in a frightening crash at Oulton Park last weekend. Thankfully, he’s all okay.

However, it’s been brought to our attention that adults actively involved in motorsport were laughing about Thomas’s crash on a personal livestream NOT associated with the championship my brother races in making comments along the lines of “bet this hurts more than bullying…”

And what makes it even worse is that, before saying it they said, “Probably shouldn’t be saying this on stream, but…”

So you knew it was wrong, yet said it anyway?

Honestly, I feel sick. 🤢
Words Do Hurt.

I absolutely love motorsport. The paddocks have become my second home, which makes this even more disappointing. You would hope that adults involved in this sport would understand the importance of encouraging the next generation, not laughing at a 15 year old after a crash and using bullying as a punchline.

Children look up to racing drivers as heroes. They watch and admire them that comes with a responsibility to set a positive example both on and off the track. Adult racing drivers should know better. Something needs to be done about this…

Thomas and I have spent YEARS standing up against bullying. We’ve shared our experiences, put our message on a racing car and written a children’s book to help teach young people about kindness and the impact their words can have.

So how can we expect children to stand up against bullying when adults are making a joke out of it?

Thomas is a 15-year-old lad chasing his dreams in motorsport and, alongside me, helping other young people who have experienced bullying. He deserves the same respect as anyone else in this paddock.

I’m not saying people cannot have opinions about drivers. That’s part of motorsport but there’s a HUGE difference between that and laughing about a child’s frightening crash while using bullying to make a joke.

Words Do Hurt isn’t just a slogan on a racing car. It’s a message we genuinely believe in and I refuse to pretend this is okay.

If we genuinely want motorsport to be a positive place for the next generation, we ALL have a responsibility to make it one.

It’s frightening that even after dedicating so much time to try put a stop to bullying we are still finding ourselves on the receiving end of it. 💔

Let’s do better. Let’s stand up against bullying. And let’s remember that behind every racing helmet is a human being. 💚🏁

Sorry for the rant usually my posts are much more positive and inspiring I just felt I needed to stand up for my brother on this one…

🚑 A big crash involving my little brother left us all shaken, but thankfully he’s okay! 🚑

Looking at the photos, you can see just how scary the whole incident yesterday was... No one ever expects a race weekend to turn out this way… 💔

Motorsport is known to be unpredictable but seeing Thomas’s car up on the barriers, nose down is a frightening sight especially when it’s your little brother inside that car. I cried and so did many others. We’re just incredibly grateful that both Thomas and the other driver are okay. 💚

Before the incident, Thomas had been putting in a fantastic drive, starting race 1 from P20 and fighting his way through the field to an incredible P10 with some seriously impressive pace especially considering he’d never driven the track before! Seriously talented 👏

But what made me even prouder was the sportsmanship he showed after the crash. Before anything else Thomas went straight over to check on the other driver and make sure they were okay. For a 15-year-old, seeing that level of maturity and consideration for another driver is genuinely heartwarming. 🫶

A massive thank you to the marshals and medical team who rushed to the scene and responded so quickly. Your efforts never go unnoticed and we’re incredibly grateful for everything you do. 🧡

We also owe a huge thank you to BPC Motorsport, who worked tirelessly to repair Thomas’s car in just a couple of hours to get him back out on track for race two. The dedication and effort that went into getting that car ready again was simply incredible! 💪

And Thomas wasn’t finished fighting yet! In race two, he was back out there making up several places before red flags unfortunately brought the racing to an early end. After everything that had happened just seeing him back out there on track meant more than you know! It was a miracle….

A weekend of what ifs really on track for the final round of the year but for Thomas, racing has always been about more than what happens on track.

Every lap is dedicated to those who have been bullied, felt alone or are currently struggling as we know first hand that Words Do Hurt and we want people to know that whatever they’re going through, they’re not alone. 💚

Seeing so much love and support for everything we do in motorsport is incredibly special. Every message and every person who stands by and supports our mission reminds us why we keep doing this… 🥹

The racing season may be over but we still have so much planned including lots of media stuff, events ect to keep pushing our important message out there! Alongside our continued fight so Thomas can hopefully race again ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came over to check on our family and asked if we were okay after yesterday and all the well wishes It means more than you know.

🚑 A BIG SCARE TODAY BUT THOMAS IS OKAY 🚑

A trip to the ambulance is never what you want on a race weekend... 💔

I wanted to give a quick update for everyone who has been supporting as I’ve had many messages asking but i promise I will do a full report tomorrow night!

If you heard today, my little brother Thomas was involved in a pretty big crash. As his big sister, seeing something like that and my parents upset is never easy.

In motorsport, you always know there are risks but that doesn’t make moments like this any less frightening. I did cry… if you seen you will know it was pretty scary seeing the car on top of the barriers facing nose down with my brother inside and another car on its side 💚

Thankfully, both Thomas and the other driver are all okay and that’s the most important thing. Their cars can be repaired but nothing matters more than the people inside the helmets.

We owe a massive thank you to the team at BPC Motorsport, who worked hard and managed to repair the car and get Thomas back out on track for Race 2.

We also owe a huge thank you to all the marshals and medics who rushed to the scene. You guys did a fantastic job, and your efforts never go unnoticed. 👏

Despite everything, I couldn’t be prouder of Thomas. Before the crash he fought his way from P20 to P10, showing incredible determination and fighting spirit. We are all so proud of you bro hope you know that!

Finally, thank you to everyone who has checked in on Thomas and our family. It means more than you know. Your support is appreciated 🫶

Now I’m going to get some rest and try to think of some more words for you all! I think Thomas scared me. It’s not often I’m lost on what to say 😂
