It's POLE position for Conor Melia in race 1 today, with a P2 start for race 2! 🤩

Niall O Mara has qualified P13 in race 1 (P5 in the Tyredoctor.ie B Championship), and P11 in race 2 (P4 in the Tyredoctor.ie B Championship)🙌🏻

Stephen Morrin has qualified P16 in race 1 (P7 in the Tyredoctor.ie B Championship), and P17 in race 2 (P8 in the Tyredoctor.ie B Championship) 🙌🏻

Today's race is at approx 16:50 and will be live-streamed on the Formula Vee Ireland page!🤩

We've been keeping a secret!🤭

As well as our normal day-to-day work in preparing cars & engines for the Formula Vee Ireland championships & race weekends, we've also been completely refurbishing another car - a Mk2 Sheane!

This initially started off as a winter project..but soon became a spring and summer project as well 😂

Christy has been full time in the workshop getting this car to completion, job done just in time for hitting the road to Silverstone later this week 😍

Our very own Stephen will be taking to the grid this weekend in the new car, and we are so excited, both to see her on the track, & to go to Silverstone...a big week ahead 😁

It's an outright WIN for SM Racing's Conor Melia in Round 6 of the National Championship 🤩

Today's conditions were tough going, and following a season of ups and downs to date, we are over the moon with today's win! Couldn't be prouder 🥳

So there's a certain knack to getting in & out of a Vee, & it's not always the most straightforward...especially on your first attempt!

Not a bother to Paddy - 90 years young, trying the Vee out for size - sat in & climbed out of it completely unaided. What a man! 🤩

Rumour has it he's considering the 2027 championship 😉...watch this space 😁

A huge congratulations to Niall O Mara of SM Racing on his Tyredoctor.ie B Championship DOUBLE win today! Race 1 was Niall's first-ever Tyredoctor.ie B Championship class win, and then he did the double in race 2 🤩

Niall had a super day's racing today, and we couldn't be prouder of him👏🏻🏎🏁
