Our U11 side visited Copenhagen on tour last weekend, for a fixture against Gentofte Rugby Klub U12s. Several of our side had never travelled outside the UK before, so it was a pleasure to take them all to such a beautiful and welcoming city.
A huge thank you to our hosts, who were absolutely perfect, from the warm welcome, the joint training or the excellent and challenging match in hot conditions...but especially the fantastic barbecue, drinks and awards at the end.
We managed to fit in countless trains and steps, a few city tours including to the Little Mermaid statue, minigolf, an excellent team meal at a local restaurant, rugby baseball on the Sunday morning and a whole load of memories. We've even come back with our tour shirt and many programmes signed, including Henry and Kal-ell convincing the captain of our return flight to sign theirs.
