Happy New Year! 🎊

A huge thank you to all our members for their hard work and support this year. What a year it’s been and we can’t wait for what’s in store in 2022.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back in the gym getting to work on those 2022 goals and make sure to make the most out of our free 60 days programming and classes!

Remember we’re open 10am - 4pm tomorrow and Monday.

We’d like to announce that as of the 29th of November BPF Fitness Hub will now be trading as Optimum Health and Fitness.

It’s been an amazing few years operating as BPF Hub and we’re looking forward to what we can do under our new alias.

We want to thank everyones continued support over the past few years. Without our members we wouldn’t be where we are today.

Members you don’t need to do anything and all current memberships will continue as normal.

Our mission at Optimum is to provide the best facility, in person service and training programmes we can to the local area to help improve every single one of our members physical and mental health through fitness.

From the outside you may think you have to be an athlete to train in our facility but we cater for clientele of all abilities, ages and backgrounds.

From our Olympic Athlete’s to our Seniors, there is a place for everyone at Optimum.

We’re different to other gyms; we’re here to coach you, make you stronger, fitter, move better and allow you to achieve things you never thought you could. Inside and outside the gym.

We believe in Functional Fitness and being fit for purpose, ready to tackle whatever daily life throws at you.

Dear Members

BPF Fitness Hub will now be under new ownership and management from Mike Anderson and Charlie Hitchcock.

We want to thank everyone for all their support up until this point and we can’t wait to bring some exciting new changes to the gym and the services we offer.

We value your feedback so please head to our website and fill out our feedback form if there's anything you’d like to let us know.

Another busy week of sign ups, clients and training in the bag.

This weekend was spent looking after Henry and painting.

Since the gym opening I vowed never to paint again as painting 5000 ft.² absolutely ruined my back. This morning I was getting tight and sore once again so I used my CBD muscle rub from . I can’t recommend this stuff highly enough. Back feels great and ready for some barbell complex’s tomorrow.

What is cardio anyway??

Most people think cardio has to be done on a rower, treadmill, bike or something similar. This is not the case, anything where you’re raising your heart rate is cardio. Using dumbbells, kettlebells and other resistance equipment is still cardio. Done at a good intensity you can challenge your cardio vascular system and burn the same calories as sitting on a bike but you have all the extra benefits of resistance training. Which there are many. It also is far less tedious and keeps your brain switched on to the task in hand.
