When your luck is out, it really is out! 😣

Disappointing results yesterday, with the first team suffering another defeat away. A missed penalty and hitting the bar in quick succession didn’t help our woes! We go again next Saturday though!

The Reserves start the season with a loss at home. There was nothing much in the game, except Minchinhampton taking their chances well to secure the victory!

✌️ Double matchdays return for the first time this campaign. The first team is still on the hunt for those three points with a tough trip to Longlevens. Meanwhile, the Ressies host Minchinhampton Reserves at Knockdown Road for their opening game of the season!

CLOSE! 🤏

Unfortunately another defeat. This time on the road, but unlucky not to come away with something. After dominating for large parts of the game, the Taters found themselves down to ten men again, resulting in the league leaders grabbing a winner.

Plenty of positives though, and that first win is just around the corner! Keep the faith ✌️

Ewen returns to the role five years after he first took the reins, with Packs assisting him throughout the season. Absolute pleasure to have these two on board for the campaign!. 💙❤️

❌ A disappointing afternoon. The Taters suffered their first defeat of the season this afternoon against a well-drilled Dursley Reserve side. Conceding a goal in the opening 90 seconds was not the best start. But then, to have two players sent off with 30 minutes remaining wasn’t ideal. Despite that, the nine men on the pitch did themselves credit and pushed all the way to the end to get an equaliser.

It’s a quick turnaround to Wednesday night now, where we travel to Tetbury Town!

A point to start the season off! ⚖️

The Taters raced into an early lead thanks to Charlie Martin striking in the first minute of the game to put the Taters ahead. Tim Fry doubled the lead with the Taters going in two up at the break.

Gala, however, struck back and later completed the comeback, so the spoils were shared. Not a bad start to the season, still plenty to work on. Thank you to everyone who supported us today.
