βοΈ | The lads left it all on the pitch last night but didnβt quite have enough to get over the line. Going in 0-0 at half-time suited the Taters after soaking up a lot of pressure. The lads came out with the wind in their sails for the second half, Cam scoring from a corner, but the lads brought it level with captain Jamie Packer converting from the spot. It was Cam, though, who took the League Cup home after a deep free-kick found an opposing player who broke the Tatersβ hearts. Fair play to our opponents, worthy winners of both the league and the league cup, so congratulations to Cam. π€

π’ | A final fixture for captain Jamie Packer, who has decided to call it a day on his playing days. An absolute model leader who will be sorely missed on the pitch, as well as for his goal contributions, which have seen some outstanding numbers. Thank you for everything, Packs, and good luck in your retirement.
π | And finally, the gaffer's last game, apart from going out with a slip π, what a man that has led this team now up to Div 1 (tbc). He has been an absolute pleasure to run this club with, and we will all miss him dearly. So thank you for everything, Conk, a true Taters legend! πβ€οΈ
