🍫⚽ CHOCOLATE FACTORY WEEK… AND WE’RE BACK OUTSIDE! ⚽🍫

This week at Mini Footy, we’re heading back to the Chocolate Factory…

AND… we’re finally back outside on the grass 🙌🌿

Our Mini Footy players will be:
🍫 collecting chocolate treats
🏃‍♂️ dribbling through the factory
🍬 dodging rivers of chocolate
⚽ scoring into sweet-themed goals

All while enjoying that fresh air, space and grass again 😍

🐣⚽ EASTER UPDATE AT MINI FOOTY!

This weekend we’re trying something a little bit different… 👀

Our blue & pink Mini Footy balls have had an Easter makeover 🥚🎀
Think rugby ball shape… bouncing, wobbling and going in all sorts of directions! 😄

It’s going to be great fun for the children as they:
🐰 adapt quickly
⚡ improve reactions
⚽ learn new ways to control the ball

Safe to say… it might get a little chaotic 😂

🐣🌼 IT’S EASTER AT MINI FOOTY! 🌼🐣

For the next couple of weeks, our sessions are turning into a full-on Easter farm adventure… and the children are absolutely loving it already 😍

We’ve got little farmers:
🐰 hopping like bunnies through burrows
🥕 dribbling through carrot fields
🥬 weaving around cabbages
🐥 chasing chicks and meeting rabbits
🧺 collecting Easter eggs and scoring into baskets

It’s football skills disguised as imaginative play — building confidence, coordination, balance and lots of smiles along the way ⚽✨

Honestly… it’s chaos in the best possible way 😂

🌞🏖️ Beach Week at Mini Footy! ⚽🍦

With this amazing sunshine we’ve been having… we thought… why not bring the beach to Mini Footy this week! 😄

We’ve had loads of fun with:
🏖️ building (and knocking down!) sandcastles
🍦 making ice creams with cones + footballs
🦀 escaping the tickly crabs
🐚 collecting seashells
🌴 dribbling around palm trees
🥅 and scoring goals on the beach!

It’s all about fun, imagination and confidence-building while the children learn football skills without even realising it ⚽😊

Mini Footy is for boys & girls aged 18 months to 8 years, with sessions tailored to each age group — and every week brings a new adventure!

🚀 Thank You Coach Matthew 🌟

This week at Mini Footy we’ve been blasting off into space 🚀 — dribbling around planets, launching our rocket cones and exploring the galaxy through football.
But it’s also a bit of a bittersweet week for us.

After being a brilliant part of the Mini Footy team, we’re saying thank you and farewell to Coach Matthew.

Matthew has been fantastic with the children and a real credit to the sessions — bringing energy, encouragement and plenty of smiles to the pitch each week. Watching the children grow in confidence while having so much fun is what Mini Footy is all about, and Matthew has been a big part of that journey.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything he’s brought to the team and we wish him the very best of luck in his next adventure.

Who knows… maybe his next mission is somewhere out in the galaxy! 🌌⭐

This week we’re bringing the stories to life. If your child wants to come dressed as their favourite book, TV or cartoon character, they’re very welcome. Capes, cuddly costumes, whatever they love.

Mini Footy is imaginative, themed football classes for girls and boys aged 18 months to 8 years. Every session is driven by a theme that sparks confidence, listening, coordination and teamwork. ⚽ WE’RE LOOKING FOR A MINI FOOTY COACH (TAUNTON) ⚽

Saturday mornings | Paid role | 18+

Mini Footy is recruiting!

Due to a long-term injury and a sudden internship opportunity for one of our coaches, we’re now looking for the right person to step into our Saturday morning sessions.

This is not traditional football coaching.

Mini Footy sessions are:

✨ Themed & story-led (Pirates, Space, Jungle adventures)
✨ High energy & imaginative
✨ Focused on confidence, teamwork & coordination
✨ Teaching the fundamentals of football in a fun way

Who would suit this?

Someone 18+ who:

• Loves working with young children
• Has warmth, confidence and natural energy
• Enjoys drama, creativity and performance
• Has a basic understanding of football
• Is comfortable demonstrating simple skills & supporting mini matches
• Has access to a car (for kit transport)

You don’t need UEFA qualifications.
You do need to be brilliant with young children and willing to learn our way of doing things.

This could suit:

• A sports or drama student
• A teacher / TA / nursery practitioner
• Someone already working with children
• A parent looking for paid Saturday work
• Someone creative who enjoys leading groups

We’re a supportive, community-based coaching business and full training is provided.

One of our lead coaches will be leaving in mid March, and we are now urgently looking for a new coach to join Mini Footy.

I am currently recovering from a back injury and would normally cover sessions myself, but this time we need to bring someone new into the team.

Mini Footy delivers fun, high-energy, story-led football sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years 🏴‍☠️🦸‍♂️🦖

This role would suit:

Sports students

PE teachers

Nursery assistants

Drama or performing arts students

Coaches looking for extra hours
