Tomorrow we'll welcome Ness to town. Well, to our village. For a league encounter.

Mr Ness, John “Plum” Morrison, will be missed tomorrow night - he’s currently busy on ambassadorial duty in America. We hope he sees Scotland deal with Haiti the way we hope to deal with Ness!

Enjoy the game. Support your team. Respect the officials.

Eight hardy blokes (we’ll leave Hollie out of this!) who travelled to Benbecula last Saturday to watch the Barra v Harris Western Isles Cup match thanks to https://wmvmotorhirer.net/

These lads (after googling “famous groups of 8 people) are comparable to the historic string octet from the Titanic that played on while the vessel sank in 1912, as our ship might have gone down (2-0) but this band carried on their duties and enjoyed their day in the Uists.

We’d like to congratulate Barra on their win and wish them all the best for the rest of the competition.

With these two as respective (but certainly not respectable!) club mascots last night, the result was never in doubt!

A fantastic turnaround at Rally Park from 4-1 down, winning 7-1 on the night and 8-5 on aggregate. Now it’s Point in the semi-finals of the Eilean an Fhraoich Cup.

The gate money was in excess of £300 which will be donated to the Bone Cancer Research Trust in a show of support from our club to Lydia Morrison and her family. Thank you to everyone who dug deep.

Tomorrow night we welcome Lochs Football Club to Rally Park for the second leg of our Eilean an Fhraoich Cup tie.

We’re 4-1 down from the first leg so we urge you to come out and get behind the team to try and overcome this deficit – it’s going to take a massive effort from everyone!

All the gate money on the night will be donated to the Bone Cancer Research Trust – a cause close to the hearts of many people in Harris, given the battle young Lydia Morrison is currently going through.

We will have a Harris mascot from Lochs and a Lochs mascot from Harris in a show of island solidarity…or just because it was Nina’s idea! Hallie will of course be in attendance too!

Tomorrow we travel to Benbecula to play Barra in the first round of the Mal Civils Western Isles Cup.

Please note the amended kick off time: 1.30pm in Benbecula.

We will be travelling on the ferry leaving Leverburgh at 10.45am. (And back on the last ferry.)

There are still 4 seats left on this minibus. Get in touch through this page if you wish to claim one of these. You just need to get yourself to Leverburgh and get on the ferry!
