🏆 Multi-Sport Success for Rory!

Everyone at Robins FC would like to congratulate Rory on a fantastic achievement away from the football pitch.

As well as being part of our football club, Rory is also a talented young golfer and recently travelled to Scotland to compete in the Wee Wonders Grand Final.

Competing in the 5–6 year-old category, Rory produced three incredibly consistent rounds of 33, 34 and 32, finishing an amazing nine shots clear of the field to become the Wee Wonders 5–6 Year Old Champion! 🏆⛳

It is a brilliant achievement and a great example of the benefits of children enjoying and participating in multiple sports.

The skills Rory develops through both football and golf — including determination, concentration, coordination, teamwork and dealing with competition — can only help his development as a young sportsman.

Rory works incredibly hard at his golf at Broome Manor Golf Complex and shows that same enthusiasm when he’s on the football pitch. To achieve something like this on a national stage at such a young age is something he and his family should be extremely proud of.

And Rory’s golfing journey doesn’t stop there! His success means he now has the exciting opportunity to compete at the World Championships in America next July. 🇺🇸⛳

Are you TINY BUT MIGHTY⭐️⚽️

We are looking for the next Generation Robins, to take flight and learny footy skills, to include basic ball mastery.👍⚽️🪶

Experienced coaches, offering fun led development sessions. With great facilities.

We are looking for 4 year olds to start their football journey and also 5 to 6 year olds to join our very successful Robins School of ⚽️

Training sessions start from 5pm every Tuesday in the New College Sports Centre.

Proud as Punch!

Unsung heroes, we need more! But, let's celebrate this one first.

Coaching from the tender age of 15 years old, in 1995⚽️ Adam Wainwright has taken multiple teams until today at 46 years of age). Recently coaching the invincibles and the team everyone is talking about - the Crazy Gang at U8s.

But, its not only coaching that he delivers as a volunteer, its hours in the field as a groundsman, flipping burgers and pizzas in our Clubhouse/Cafe, and the best latte in town (apparently)😁.

He could have taken more than 1 award home last night. But, he was so grateful for the positive behaviour award, as a coach, it means alot. To encourage others to express themselves. No stigma, if you love it, you learn it.

In the Community👍🔴⚽️⭐️☕️🫖

It was great today to support and host our first Carers event at the Robins FC Pavilion.

After working very closely with Ann and Sharon from the Kingswood and Carfax Surgeries, it was a real pleasure to open our doors for carers, not only to find out upto date information, gain advice, share experiences, but also just to relax/unwind with a nice cuppa☕️🫖 Oh, and a few sweet treats😆🍪

As a Club, we are Football based, and proud of our managers, volunteers and our players. But, we are a Club that's more than just Football, we are far reaching and are working hard to support our communities. Recently evident with our launch of multi-sports for Neuro Diverse, SEN, Home Ed Children - The Bright (shine a light) Robins⭐️ In partnership with South Swindon Parish Council WASP (Wiltshire & Swindon Sport) and Sports England.

We are committed to not only making our young Robins better players, but also through shared experiences, be better people. People who care about one another, and who are genuinely interested in the communities around them🔴💯👍🔥

Also, it was brilliant to welcome and host Will from the Wiltshire Police Crime Commisioners office. And, Danielle Brown-Kelly - Advocate we discussed a multitude of ideas and future plans to engage with those around us. To show as a Club and as a Community - we really do care. Watch this space🙏⚽️👐

Congratulations are in order for our U7s, U9s, U10s and U11s. Enjoying summer tournaments together, and celebrating in Robins stylee.

Some great performances and achievements, you have done all at the Robins very proud🔴⚽️❤️🙏

From winning fair play trophies, to winning their Cup competitions! It really was a red, white and black weekend across Swindon and Wiltshire😁🔥

Not, so breaking news! As it was an exhausting weekend. But our U7's (3 teams) yes 3 teams were a real credit to the Club at the Highworth Juniors Tournament last weekend⚽️👐⭐️

Great football played, in the right spirit! For many of our young Robins ⭐️'s it was their very first experience of tournament football. And, you cannot forget the smiles.

Proud to be diverse, Proud to be inclusive, Proud to be Robins. Together, No Stigma.

It was also amazing to pick up the Respect Award on the day, congratulations also to Cricklade Colts who also picked up an award in their league.

Massive credit to Mark Collet and everyone at Highworth Town Juniors Junior Grassroots. For putting on a great tournament. Proud to be Grassroots⚽️❤️💯

Robins FC U15 (Season 2026/27) are looking for players to join the current U14 team to prepare for and take part in the new season.

⚽️📍You need to be 14 by 31st August 2026 to be eligible.

🔴⚽️Robins is small and a family friendly club with a strong development ethos that provides a supportive and welcoming environment for players looking to have fun, make new friends and take part in competitive football within the North Wilts Youth Football League.

🥅⭐️We are looking for players for midfield and forward positions and likely we’ll be div2 next season.

📍🏟We train at Buckhurst Field Pitches behind New College over the summer on grass and New College 3G in winter months.

🔴👐👏⚽️Shiny new clubhouse with parking, toilets, hot food and changing rooms.

Our Chairman since the grass roots beginnings and when the Club was formed, way back in 1991. A proactive Chairman who has also coached and managed many, many teams - developing 1,000s of young players.
