✨ HAPPY 1️⃣6️⃣th BIRTHDAY LMA OLD TOWN! ✨

I can’t quite believe it was 16 years ago *today* since we first opened Leadership Martial Arts in Swindon Old Town! 🥳

We’ve had hundreds of students come through our doors over that time, originally at Commonweal School, and more recently at the Christ Church Community Centre.

Throughout the time, Master Hardy and the team have always strived to build a community in our classes, and building the balance between a focused martial arts class, that’s also fun, energetic, and a community!

Our huge thanks to everyone who’s trained with us & supported us over the years, and to everyone who’s been a member of the LMA Old Town team over the years.

Your LMA Wichelstowe & Old Town team went out for a meal last night, celebrating Jonah, Caleb & Paige’s exam results and their exciting next steps! 🥳

It was also a “passing the torch” moment, with Jonah & Caleb leaving us in the next few weeks, Stella about to return to university, and with Mrs Griffiths & Mrs Fomienko about to join the team!

We missed Paige & Rowan last night, who weren’t able to join us - one day we’ll manage to get our entire team on one team!

It’s always a laugh when the team gets to spend time together, and a great way to celebrate fabulous results and new beginnings as a team! 🥂

🚫 CLASSES IN WICHELSTOWE & OLD TOWN ARE CLOSED UNTIL 1st SEPTEMBER!

Our classes in Wichelstowe & Old Town are closed until 1st September while our team has a brief break.

While we’re closed, you’re welcome to train at any of our sister schools - classes in North Swindon, Royal Wootton Bassett, Lyneham, and Highworth will remain open for the duration of our closure.

Keep up your practice, and we can’t wait to see you back on Tuesday 1st in Old Town and Thursday 3rd in Wichelstowe!

If you didn’t get the results you hope, remember - these results can’t reflect who you are: they can’t reflect who you are as a person, your kindness, your integrity, who you are away from school. So brush yourself off, and take the time to decide where you go next, you have more options than you may realise.

Wishing the very best to all of our students & friends who are getting their A-Level and AS-Level results today!

We hope you all get the results you hope, and you’re able to move onto whatever you have planned next.

Remember whatever the result, it doesn’t define YOU as a person, or your whole future. Results don’t reflect your attitude, courage, any challenges you’ve overcome, or your hopes and dreams. If your results are not what you’re expecting, take your time in making sure whatever you decide to do next, reflects where you want to go, not what you think you ought to do!!
