If you’re at the skatepark this week you might meet Rob from Radii Skatepark Repairs working on replacing and repairing Skatelite panels on the jump boxes and roll-in.

Lorna Haines fundraised for these ramps many years ago, they were installed back in 2014.

Thanks to Swanage Town Council for funding and organising the repairs.

Throwback to the Carnival parade last weekend when we scooped 3rd place in the fancy-dress competition 👏🏻

We want to say a huge thanks to all the volunteers who entered the parade, did a bar shift or a charity bucket collection over the last week during Swanage Carnival.

We owe a special shoutout to Carly and Harry who instigated our entry into the Parade - a first for our group 🥳

Thank you to Swanage Carnival for choosing our charity as one of the local groups who will benefit from the funds raised this week. All the money we receive will go towards the Phase 2 build 🔥

The more our community volunteers during Swanage Carnival, the more funding we receive to support the skatepark 🔥

➡️Here’s 3 easy ways to get involved:

1. Join the procession! Not all cowboys and cowgirls have horses, some ride scooters, skateboards, roller skates and bikes! 🛴🛹🚲🤠 If you'd like to take part in the Parade on Sunday 26th July? Email Carly Oliver at [email protected]

2. Already planning to head to a carnival event? Can you take a carnival collection bucket with you? Email [email protected] if you can help.

3. Can’t commit to taking a collection bucket in advance? Visit the Carnival Information Stand on Sandpit Field whenever you’re free & mention you’re volunteering for Swanage Skatepark. Even 1 hour of volunteering makes a difference.
