Stop training like this...

Targeting a small muscle group like a biceps, triceps or calf is not the smartest approach if you are looking to improve the way you look, build muscle and a physique to be proud of.

You are not s bodybuilder, you are not training 6 days per week so prioritise:
- Full Body Workouts
- Compound exercises like Squat, Deadlifts, Pull Ups, Bench Press, Rows, Lunges etc.

They will outperform the small isolation exercises everytime.
More muscles are stimulated during the session and by doing full Body workouts you can stimulate more muscles weekly.

Note:
1 - Follow a structured training plan if you are serious about achieving and gym goals and changing the way you look and perform.
If not you are just working out for sh*ts and giggles.

2 - Stop doing so much, so many exercises.
Train less with more intent and structure

3 - Stop making up workouts as you walking into the gym.

Social media has a youth problem.

The 23 year old has never trained around a bad knee, raised kids on 5 hours sleep, or fought hormones that work against them daily.

Their plan was built for their life.
Not yours.
After 40 your life is different, your hormones shift, recovery slows, and stress is real and no crash diet will fix it

You don't need to train harder.
You need to train smarter with someone who actually understands the body you're living in.

Stop following the wrong blueprint.

The results you want are still possible, they just need the right plan.

Why...

My dad died when I was 17.

That's my why.
That's always been my why.

The people around me deserve a healthy, strong version of me showing up for them.
Not someday.
Now.

That's why I move.
That's why I eat well, 90% of the time.
That's why I don't let a number on a scale dictate my worth.

And it's why I coach.
Because somewhere out there someone else has a reason too.

They just need someone to help them find it and raise their standards to match it.

Find your why.

Your weight will lie to you every single day.

I weighed myself over a 24 hours in my hotel.

My weight shifted 1.8 kilograms up and down, in just 24 hours

Just a normal day on holiday

Here's what was actually happening:

Every time I ate carbs, my body stored water with it. That's not fat that's fuel being stored in your muscles.
Every time I moved or were more active, I lost water weight.

After a big meal, up.
After the gym down.
Morning versus evening, completely different number.

And for women, your cycle alone can shift 1โ€“5lbs with zero change in body fat.

A meal, a wee, a poo that's easily half a kilo right there.
This is normal.
This is not failure or you gaining fat.

But here's what's not normal, letting that number decide how you feel about yourself and whether you keep going.

That's where progress dies.
