π Big Awards for Two Incredible Volunteers! β¨
Our players did a brilliant job on the pitch this weekend, but Saturday morning was also about recognising the incredible volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make Stirling County Minis & Micros so special.
We were absolutely delighted to have Al Wilson join us to present our two major volunteer awards. Al is the absolute definition of a club stalwart - he has given up an immense amount of his time to County over many years, heavily involved across the minis and youth sections, and is currently the U16 Girls Head Coach. Now that his son has started in our Micros section, Al's journey with us comes full circle! Al was actively coaching when these trophies were first introduced, so was able to explain the history and meaning behind them, which made the presentations extra special.
Huge congratulations go to ...
π Mark Nuttall who picked up the Roy McCormack P7 Award for his outstanding commitment, leadership, and spirit. Mark has put a tremendous amount of effort into coaching and coordinating the P7 squad this year ensuring they are all set for the step up to S1.
π Chris Drysdale who was awarded the John Inglis Cup for his exceptional work in keeping rugby safe, fun, and welcoming at County. Chris has been a driving force behind our thriving Micros section, taking on tasks beyond what would usually be expected of a coach.
Thank you Mark and Chris, for everything you have poured into the club and the kids this year. Incredibly well-deserved! π΄βͺβ«οΈ
