The 25/26 season comes to a close for the maroons!

Wallace Cup was last Friday where the boys did very well but the 20 min games are difficult and we came up a little short in the middle games. A great tournament and the boys scored some cracking goals across the 5 games.

Final night of training last night and the end of our 3v3 World Cup! Some team adjustments due to injuries but France came out on top winning the final 3-1 against Portugal. Well done Sam, Stanley and Travis ⚽️👍

Few weeks off then back ready to kick on next year 💪

🙌 Great day for the maroons at the meadowpark as everyone got together to celebrate a fantastic first year of 11 a side football.

The boys have all been superb and made incredible progress throughout the year.

What a season these boys have had for their first year at 11’s and competitive football.
Last week we played in the A divisional cup final, after an excellent comeback from 3-0 to get it back to 3-2 we just couldn’t find the equaliser credit to the boys for their efforts tho.

This week we went again in the John Mitchell memorial cup final.
Another cracking cup final 3-0 up this time and let our opponents back into the game 3-2 with only seconds left of the 70 mins we make it 4-2 they score deep into injury time 4-3 it finished and the boys got their hands on the massive cup.
One league game left then it’s our home tournament the Wallace Cup then the boys coaches and parents can have a well earned break recharge and ready to go for more silverware next season.

Really good performance from the maroons today. Plenty of rotations across the pitch and the boys scored some cracking goals and gave nothing away at the back. Well done boys. 👏👏👏

Boys battled it out today in the divisional cup semifinal.
Went one up early with a cracking top bins effort but unfortunately that was cancelled out in the second half. 1-1 full time
So the dreaded pens but we came out 4-3 winners on pens thanks to two great saves by our keeper.
Coaches and players looking forward to the final.
Well done boys. ⚽️

Maroons were up against top of the table Stirling Albion today so they knew they had to be at their best.

Took a few mins to settle in to the game but after going in 1-1 at half time found the belief to take control of the game second half.

All the boys were immense and gave everything for the the team. 3-1 win at full time and a well deserved 3 points against a strong side. Well done boys 👏👏👏

The Sky Blues put on a cracking display this morning with an early start through in Glasgow.

We started well scoring in the first 30 seconds with great combination play.
1-0 at halftime.
We came out strong in the second half and got our rewards scoring a further 3 excellent goals.
Boys worked really hard in and out of possession today to get the 3 points and the clean sheet. ⚽️
