Experience the Joy of Rowing in one of the most beautiful locations in Scotland

Stirling Rowing Club has a long and fruitful history, dating back from the original club formed in 1853, through to its closure in 1860, then re-opening thirty-one years on in 1891 when Stirling Amateur Rowing Club was born in its current capacity and from here the club went from strength to strength, becoming one of the distinguished clubs in Scotland.

World Rowing Masters Regatta 26

At the start of September, 9 of our masters members travelled out to Slovenia to compete at the World Rowing Masters Regatta - the biggest regatta in the world, with almost 5,000 rowers taking part. This year it was hosted at Lake Bled, one of the most famous and stunning rowing venues, and we came home with 3 gold medals!

🥇A 2x (composite with SABC)

It’s fantastic to see more of our members competing at the event year on year and having Stirling Rowing Club represented so well! It was the first time going to world masters for 4 of the 9 members that went out, and we hope to see even more of our members going next year!
