MATCH RESULT ⬇️

24 points on the board in our first eight games 💥 A dominant performance at home today, various goal scorers and a positive team result. An early lead from Jordan Davies gave us quick momentum from the start, and the goals came in a continuous stream. A disappointing goal to concede 25 seconds from kick off in the second half, but the three points were secured early on.

We’re pleased to share our player of the month for August, voted for by the management team, as Charlie Warren. The Salop Leisure League top goal scorer across both divisions last season, we were hoping he could replicate something similar for us this year. Charlie has had a pretty impressive start to the season, racking up 11 goals in just 5 appearances. He continues to show what a prolific goalscorer he is, lethal in front of goal (most of the time) and a huge part of the team behind the scenes.

We are gutted that Charlie is currently out of action as he recovers from a broken leg sustained in our fixture against Sunshine Coast. We’re wishing him a speedy recovery, despite him still not missing a minute of the action, and can’t wait to see him back in green and white later in the season. We’re sure he’ll still be trying to go for that league top goal scorer title again despite the time out. 👀
