Over 700 registered players and over 211 volunteers. Shrewsbury Up & Comers are a grass roots football club, operating Boys and Girls teams from Under 7 through to open age adult football. We are an entirely voluntary organisation made up of people who readily give up their time for no monetary reward and have been offering football throughout our local community for 50 years, since 1973. The club
s aim is to provide the opportunity for young players to develop their football and social skills in an enjoyable and safe environment. The club is run totally from volunteers, with an impressive 173 volunteers currently supporting football in our community. As well as our managers and coaches, our volunteers also form part of our management committee with each volunteer undertaking a series of FA qualifications and where appropriate, DBS checks. We are based at the Unison Club, Shirehall, Shrewsbury playing our home games at both the Unison Club pitches and S**T, London Road pitches, Shrewsbury. Interested in being part of our Club?
