🚨 We're so sorry, but due to the heat, we've made the difficult decision to cancel Crèche this evening, Monday 22nd June.

This wasn't an easy decision, but the safety and wellbeing of all the children, families, and volunteers is our highest priority.

Today we celebrate the dads, stepdads, grandads, and father figures who cheer from the sidelines, brave the early morning kick-offs, provide endless lifts to training, and support our players every step of the way.

Thank you for your dedication, encouragement, and commitment to our football family. Your support helps create memories that last a lifetime.

🎉 Happy 50th Birthday to our Chairman, Wayne! 🎉

Today we celebrate a man who truly embodies what our club is all about.
The man who still turns up to watch the games when he doesn’t have to. The man who probably moans more than every manager put together. The man whose passion, commitment, and dedication to the club never go unnoticed.

Behind the complaints, opinions, and match-day nerves is someone who has Worthen at the heart of everything he does. His support, leadership, and love for the club have helped make it what it is today.

From everyone at the club, thank you for everything you do. We hope you have a fantastic day celebrating this milestone.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our presentation such a success.
To every single person who gave up their time to help – whether you were setting up, manning a stall, taking photographs, or lending a hand wherever it was needed – your support and hard work did not go unnoticed. Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without such an amazing team behind the scenes.

A special thank you also goes to all of the teams who generously donated raffle prizes, as well as the wonderful members of our community who contributed. Your kindness and support helped make the raffle a fantastic success.

We’d also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to some of our incredible local businesses for their generous donations. We were truly overwhelmed by your generosity and willingness to support us.

Congratulations to Maisy who was nominated for our Worthen Juniors JT Award! 👏

Maisy was put forward for the JT Award because she has been an enormous help in running the team and consistently leads by example, setting the standards at both training and matches.

Over the years, there have been countless occasions when Maisy has arrived early to help set up the pitch for matches or prepare training sessions, and she has never complained once. Her commitment and willingness to help have been invaluable to the team.

We have welcomed many new players over the years, and Maisy has always been the person we ask to support them, making them feel welcome, comfortable, and part of the group from day one. She is a natural leader who puts others first.

Because of all these qualities, Maisy has played a huge part in creating the positive, supportive, and fun environment that our team enjoyed through the years. She truly embodies the values of teamwork, dedication, and leadership, making her a thoroughly deserving recipient of the JT Award.

Congratulations to Jim & Daniel, who were nominated for our Worthen Juniors Beano Award! 👏

Jim & Daniel were nominated for this award for choosing to complete the volunteering section of their Duke of Edinburgh Award at Worthen Juniors throughout the season, dedicating one hour each week to supporting the club.

Their tasks included:
⚽ Helping to set up the pitch on match days, including goals, respect lines and corner flags.
⚽ Mixing the white lining paint and marking out the pitches.
♻️ Emptying bins and sorting recycling.
🌱 Strimming grass around advertising boards and bins.

Their commitment, hard work and willingness to help have made a real difference to the club. We are extremely proud of them both.

A fantastic day celebrating all of our amazing players, dedicated managers, coaches, volunteers and everything that has been achieved throughout the season.

From the first training session to the final whistle, every player has shown commitment, teamwork and determination, making us incredibly proud.

Thank you to everyone who has played a part in another successful season. Your hard work, support and dedication help make Worthen Juniors such a special club.
