⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE ⚠️

The pitches at Runcorn Linnets JFC are CLOSED due to ongoing renovation work.

🚫 PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE PITCHES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WHILE THE FENCING IS UP 🚫

While we love seeing local children enjoying our facilities, potentially DANGEROUS TOXIC CHEMICALS are currently being used on the pitches as part of the treatment and renovation process. Entering the fenced-off areas could pose a serious health risk.

The fencing is there for your safety, and we ask all parents and children to respect the closure until work is fully completed.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation while we improve the pitches for everyone πŸ’›πŸ’š

The work ethic this group has is remarkable.
Coaches Man of the Match went to Harrison, Mr Dependable. He always seems to be in the right place at the right time. He's like a portable brick wall, we can move around. A brilliant performance in and out of possession πŸ†
Parents Player of the Match went to Harry and Josh. πŸ†
Harry was excellent on the left, full of confidence, beating his man, linking up and doing the hard work when we needed him to.
Josh, so impressive again this morning. To be able to bring him into the team and know he's improved the squad is a testament to his talent.
Well done lads, a belter performance πŸ’ͺ πŸ’š

Runcorn Linnets Lightning girls are seeking sponsorship to help fund the purchase of new matchday and training kits πŸ’›πŸ’š

The team have just completed their first season together and have surpassed all expectations.

Being a new team, the girls have been wearing a variety of home kits, previously used by other Linnets teams, and so we’d love to start next season with new kits, displaying the branding of a supportive sponsor. ⚽️

For the forthcoming season, we’ll be playing in the Under 12’s Premier Division of the Mid Cheshire Girls League, with matches taking place at the home of Cheshire FA.
The location has extremely high footfall, so it’s safe to say, potential sponsors would have their branding at the heart of the Cheshire girls league, as well as being shown across our social media platforms.

If you can support us in any way, please get in touch with Dave - 07747041539

On Sunday, it was the last game for our U12 Linnets Yellows girls, as they took on Whittle Hall Madrid in the Warrington Girls Champions Trophy final. πŸ†πŸ†

In a final that saw some outstanding play from both teams, it was Whittle Hall who came out on top.

But our Linnets girls deserve immense credit for taking the game to Whittle Hall, particularly as two thirds of our team are playing a year up. Our highlights included three cracking goals from Scarlett, Olivia, and Daisy, two further chances hitting the crossbar, and a fantastic penalty save from Els!

It wasn’t the end of the season that we all wanted, but it was a cracking game of football. πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’š

Linnets Lightning U11 girls had their last game of the season yesterday, playing Nantwich Town. πŸ’›πŸ’š

A truly fantastic performance from the girls, in a game that every single player showcased just how far they’ve come playing their first season together.

*Player of the Match - Mia*

After three weeks out injured, Mia was desperate to get back onto the pitch. She was outstanding today in the heart of midfield. There were lots of occasions where she controlled the play with intricate passing. The link up with Olivia and Grace led to several goals, including two for her πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

*Parents Player of the Match - Isla*

With Kaya injured, we needed a leader to step up and put on the gloves. Several girls put their hands up, but Isla enjoyed herself so much, she remained in for the whole game. Not only that, but she made several top saves and goal line clearances, conceding just the one goal πŸ™Œ πŸ™Œ πŸ™Œ

*Opposition Player of the Match - Grace*

Grace’s speed and skill were dialled into Level 10 today and caused the oppositions defence a torrid time. Excellent in the press and linked up superbly with Mia and Olivia to score two and set up numerous opportunities πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Runcorn linnets u13s yellows signed off their season in style with an impressive 4-1 home win, seeing them finish 5th in the league after stepping up two divisions. πŸ’›πŸ’š

Theo scoring 2, Ted 1 and Harry 1 all impressive goals. This result not only highlights the teams quality on the day but also reflects the incredible progress made over the course of the season. Every player has developed both individually and as part of the team and their excellent team spirit has been constant throughout the season. A brilliant end to the season and plenty to be proud of. MOTM this week was the whole team.

Huge thanks to our coaches too for everything they do for our team πŸ’›πŸ’š
