Really impressed with the U12’s Linnets Greens lads today, against La Coruna. Such a dominant performance. We moved the ball around really well creating plenty of opportunities 👌🏽. Once it was a draw the thing that impressed me most, was the calmness and how we controlled the game much better than last week.

Individually 🟡🟢

Lennon was top drawer again today, distribution = brilliant, shot stopping = brilliant, reading the game = brilliant, a well deserved MOM again 👏🏼.

The defence was superb from all 4 lads. Arthur led the line like a leader, so composed on the ball and in his duals, unbeatable 💪🏻. H and Jose rock solid, left and right. Moved the ball extremely well and defensively brilliant 💪🏻.

Josh, back to his best today after a really tough few weeks. Strong and composed in his duals, didn’t put a foot wrong. Well deserved MOM.

The midfield was so impressive 💪🏻. The fight and desire from our two CM was outstanding. Ben took PMOM with a non stop showing across the pitch. The thing we noticed as coaches today, was his distribution and touch, really impressive 👌🏽.

Another goal from Tobz who played through an injury 👏🏼. The second from Louie was an absolute Rocket 🚀. Good work from Harry, Luca and Zack on the wings 👏🏼.

Absolutely brilliant from the greens 💚💛

Absolutely fantastic performance today from U12’s Linnets Oranges. 💛💚

Football was excellent 4/5/6 pass combinations from back to front was great to see.

Luca had his best 30 minutes of football this season in the second half 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.

3 x MOTM today, firstly Harry. A hat trick in the second half and looked full of confidence in his 1v1 duals 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Arthur, another rock solid performance in midfield and defence. Cool as cucumber slotting our penalty too ❄️❄️❄️.

Finally H, didn’t put a foot wrong today. It’s a credit to his ability that we’re so reassured as coaches, when he’s in a 1v1 dual. He seems to always come out on top and retain possession 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻.

Absolutely best football I’ve seen this season🔥 Well done All!

First round of the Mid-Cheshire cup, saw Linnets Lightning U12 girls up against Hartford Hurricanes. 💛💚

First and foremost, both teams deserve great credit for playing football in those conditions 💨🌧️🥶

Whilst we had the plenty of chances, it was just a well taken goal by Mia, that separated the two teams and sees us progress to the next round.

Player of the Match - Fliss
A game of high energy from Fliss today, who always gives 100%
Playing in a couple of positions today, Fliss created some lovely opportunities for us to score more than just the one goal today 🔥🔥

Parents POTM - Jess
An absolute beast of a performance from Jess today. Up against a quick and strong opponent, Jess dominated her 1v1’s, and made numerous covering tackles and blocks, which contributed to a clean sheet 💛💚

OPOTM - Mia
A really good game from Mia, particularly down the left wing where she created several opportunities for the team to score. Took her goal really well, which ultimately helped the team progress to the next round 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

U11’s Yellows today 💛💚

Dalton was the manager’s player of the match today after a brilliant game. He was solid at the back for his team & his clearance off the line today really showed his character, determination and never say die attitude. Well done Dalton! 🏆

Luis was the parents player of the match today. He made so many saves for his team to keep them in the game and really stepped up whenever he was called upon. Brilliant performance from a brilliant goalkeeper. Well done Luis!🏆

A tough game for Linnets Oranges after an exceptional start to the season. 💛💚

Mom went to Arthur today, he was excellent when he went centre half. He led the line extremely well and got us playing on the front foot. Really impressive from the big man 👏🏼.

A little mention to Teddy who made some fantastic one on one saves today to keep the scoreline close 👏🏼

Congratulations to Frano on his debut in centre mid, really impressive performance in the CDM role 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

We regroup and go again next week.

Hard lines today it was a really excellent close game, the lads were brilliant again and played beautiful football, some of the goals were just superb team goals well done everyone 💛💚👏🏻

Parents MOM was Liam, done well in the middle of the pitch and scored a fantastic headed goal 🏆👏🏻
