The Aces cup dream is over.

Played a Pexhill team that was 3 Divisions higher, 3-0 defeat but it doesn't tell the story. The Aces dominated at times and just couldn't find the back of the net.

POTM (Left) dominated the midfield, and Pexhill couldn't handle him.

Parents player won his duels and made it very tough for the opposition.

⚽ SANDYMOOR VOLUNTEER GROUNDS PERSON WANTED! 🌱

Join Runcorn Saxons FC at Sandymoor Ormiston Academy.

Do you have a couple of hours to spare each week and fancy helping your local community focussed football club?

We're looking for an additional Volunteer Grounds Person to help our existing volunteer grounds team keep our pitch in great condition and ready for our teams to play.

🛠️ What would you be helping with?
• 🚜 Grass cutting on one of our Mountfield ride-on mowers.
• 📏 Marking out our 11-a-side pitches using our easy walk spray marker.
• 🌱 General light groundskeeping and helping keep our facilities looking their best.

👋 Who are we looking for?

Someone reliable, practical and happy to get stuck in. This role could be ideal for someone who is retired and has a little spare time each week, but anyone who can help is very welcome!

Good level of social interaction and meeting and working with new people too.

You don't need to be a groundskeeping expert, just a willingness to help and a bit of pride in keeping our main grass football pitch in good shape.

❤️ Every volunteer makes a difference. Your time would help support our players, coaches and the wider club community.

U14's Hlaford fantastic result 3rd playing 4th and a 10-2 away win for Saxons. Parents MOTM with a hat trick to his name and surprisingly in such a high scoring game. Our right back was coaches MOTM with an outstanding display both defensively and getting forwards on the ball to support the attack.
